Eric Comrie<\/a> is the expected starter for Winnipeg but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Jets are 5-3-2 in their last 10 games but are on a three-game losing streak entering this matchup. Mark Scheifele<\/a> is tied with Kyle Connor<\/a> for the team’s lead in goals scored with 31.<\/span><\/p>\n

Igor Sheterkin is the probable starter for the Rangers, but we could see Jonathan Quick<\/a> get the call with the Blueshirts playing the Ottawa Senators<\/a> on Monday. New York is 5-4-1 in its previous 10 games but also on a three-game losing skid entering this afternoon affair. Mika Zibanejad<\/a> has been a bright spot with 29 goals, 37 assists, and 66 points.<\/p>\n

Both teams have fallen well short of expectations. However, the Rangers get the rare home win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Rangers win 3-1.<\/em><\/p>\n

Our second game<\/a> of NHL predictions has the Colorado Avalanche<\/a> going for the season sweep against the Washington Capitals<\/a>. Colorado is likely to give Mackenzie Blackwood<\/a> the start in goal for this game. The Avs are 6-3-1 in their last 10 games and were the first team to clinch a Stanley Cup Playoff spot. Nathan MacKinnon<\/a> is putting up Hart Trophy numbers with 45 goals and 69 assists for 114 points.<\/span><\/p>\n

Logan Thompson<\/a> is the projected starter for Washington, which is 5-4-1 in the last 10 games. This includes a two-game winning streak heading into this afternoon matchup. Alex Ovechkin<\/a> and Tom Wilson<\/a> have the same stat line with 25 goals, 27 assists, and 52 points.<\/p>\n

Colorado has clinched a postseason. However, it still has plenty to play for and should get the win.<\/p>\n

Time:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

Our final game of NHL predictions has the Dallas Stars<\/a> going for the season sweep against the Vegas Golden Knights.<\/a> Adin Hill<\/a> is the probable starter for Vegas, which is 3-7 in its last 10 games. This includes three consecutive losses. Pavel Dorofeyev<\/a> leads the way in goals on the team with 34.<\/p>\n

Casey DeSmith<\/a> is the likely starter after Jake Oettinger<\/a> got the start in the overtime loss to the Minnesota Wild<\/a> on Saturday. Dallas is 7-1-2 in its last 10 games despite the loss yesterday. Jason Robertson<\/a> is tops in goals (38) and points (82) for the Stars.<\/p>\n

Dallas may be coming off a tough loss the day before. However, the Stars should get the win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Stars win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Best Bets<\/h3>\n

We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to our featured game for our favourite props. The over\/under for the Jets and the Rangers is 5.5, and we like the under in this game.<\/p>\n
