Our opening game<\/a> of NHL predictions is a Metropolitan Division matchup between the New Jersey Devils<\/a> and the New York Rangers<\/a>. Jacob Markstrom<\/a> is the projected starter for the Devils but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. New Jersey is 6-4 in its last 10 games. However, it may be too little, too late for a team that was hoping to do more. Jesper Bratt<\/a> leads the team in assists (37) and points (52).<\/span><\/p>\n

Igor Shesterkin<\/a> is the probable starter for the Blueshirts, who are 6-2-2 in their last 10 games. However, the Rangers are coming off a loss to the Los Angeles Kings<\/a> in Artemi Panarin<\/a>‘s return to Madison Square Garden. New York has been playing better since the trade deadline. However, this effort is also coming way too late in the season. Mika Zibanejad<\/a> is tops in assists (36) and points (63).<\/p>\n

Both teams are playing well in recent games. However, the Devils get the victory.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Devils win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Our second and featured game of NHL predictions has the Dallas Stars<\/a> taking on the Colorado Avalanche<\/a> for the third time this season. Dallas is expected to give Jake Oettinger<\/a> the start in between the pipes. The Stars are 8-1-1 in their last 10 games. However, Dallas lost for the first time in regulation in quite some time against the Utah Mammoth. Wyatt Johnston<\/a> is first on the club in goals with 37.<\/p>\n

Mackenzie Blackwood<\/a> is the likely starter for the Avalanche, who are 6-4 in their last 10 games. However, Colorado is coming off two consecutive losses entering this pivotal Central Division game. The Avs are three points ahead of the Stars in the division. Nathan MacKinnon<\/a> leads the team in goals (45), assists (65), and points (110).<\/span><\/p>\n

Both teams are coming off losses. However, the Avalanche pick up the win at home.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Avalanche win 3-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Philadelphia Flyers vs Anaheim Ducks<\/h2>\n

Head-to-Head: Flyers 1-0 Ducks<\/h3>\n

Time: <\/strong>10\u00a0<\/span>p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

Our last game of NHL predictions has the Philadelphia Flyers<\/a> taking on the Anaheim Ducks<\/a>. Daniel Vladar<\/a> is the projected starter for the Flyers, who are 6-3-1 in their last 10 games. Former Duck Trevor Zegras<\/a> is having a great first year in Philadelphia with 22 goals and 54 points.<\/p>\n

Lukas Dostal<\/a> is the probable starter for Anaheim, which is 6-4 in the last 10 games. The Ducks currently sit tied for first in the Pacific Division with the Edmonton Oilers on 77 points. Former Flyers draft pick Cutter Gauthier<\/a> is first in goals (34) and points (59).<\/p>\n

There are plenty of storylines entering this matchup between the two teams. However, Anaheim gets the victory at home.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Ducks win 5-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Best Bets<\/h3>\n

We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to our featured game for our preferred prop bets. The over\/under for the Stars and the Avalanche is 6.5, and we like the under in this game.<\/p>\n

As far as individual props, take Jason Robertson<\/a> to get at least an assist is this game. On the Colorado side of things, take Cale Makar<\/a> to get a power-play goal.<\/p>\n
