Our first game<\/a> of NHL predictions has the Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a> visiting the Minnesota Wild<\/a> for the only time this season. Anthony Stolarz<\/a> is the confirmed starter after Joseph Woll<\/a> got the call against the Buffalo Sabres.<\/a> The Maple Leafs are coming off a 3-2 shootout loss to Buffalo and have dropped nine of their last 10 games.\u00a0 William Nylander<\/a> is first in assists (39) and points (62) so far this season.<\/p>\n

Jesper Wallstedt<\/a> has been locked in as the starter for the Wild, who are 5-3-2 in their last 10 games. However, Minnesota has lost three of its last four game entering this Sunday night matchup. Kirill Kaprizov<\/a> is first on the team in assists (41) and points (79). He’s also tied with Matt Boldy<\/a> for the team-lead in goals with 38.<\/p>\n

The Leafs seem to be out of the race for a Stanley Cup Playoff spot and they’ve been playing better. However, the Wild should pick up the win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Wild win 5-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Florida Panthers vs Seattle Kraken<\/h2>\n

Time:<\/strong> 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

Our second game of NHL predictions has the Florida Panthers<\/a> meeting the Seattle Kraken<\/a> for the first time this season. Sergei Bobrovsky<\/a> is the probable starter for Florida, which is 5-5 in its last 10 games. However, the Panthers have won their last three games in a row. Sam Reinhart<\/a> is the team’s leader in goals (29), assists (32), and points (61).<\/p>\n

Joey Daccord<\/a> is the likely starter for the Kraken, who are 4-6 in their previous 10 games. However, Seattle stopped a four-game losing streak on Saturday against the rival Vancouver Canucks.<\/a> Bobby McMann<\/a> registered two goals and an assist in first game with the club.<\/p>\n

Both teams are coming off victories in their recent games. However, Florida should get the win in this one.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Panthers win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Nashville Predators vs Edmonton Oilers<\/h2>\n

Time:<\/strong> 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

Our final and featured game of NHL predictions is the rubber match between the Nashville Predators<\/a> and the Edmonton Oilers.<\/a> Juuse Saros<\/a> is the projected starter for the Predators, who are 3-4-3 in their last 10 games. Nashville is only three points off the second wild card spot, which is currently held by the San Jose Sharks<\/a>. Ryan O’Reilly<\/a> leads the team in assists (39) and points (61).<\/p>\n

Tristan Jarry<\/a> is the expected starter for the Oilers, who are 4-5-1 in their previous 10 games. Edmonton has dropped its last two consecutive games entering this matchup. Goaltending and defence are at the crux of the latest woes for the two-time defending Western Conference champions. Connor McDavid<\/a> is first on the club in goals (37), assists (74), and points (111).<\/p>\n

Both teams are in need of points. However, Edmonton should get back on track.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Oilers win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Best Bets<\/h3>\n

We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s stay with our featured game for our preferred props. The over\/under for the Predators versus the Oilers is 6.5, and we like the over in this game.<\/p>\n

As far as individual props, go with Filip Forsberg<\/a> to score an anytime goal for Nashville. On the Edmonton side of things, take Leon Draisaitl<\/a> to get the over on 1.5 points.<\/p>\n
