Our opening game<\/a> of NHL predictions is another installment of the QEW rivalry between the Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a> and the Buffalo Sabres.<\/a> Joseph Woll<\/a> is the confirmed starter for the Maple Leafs, who are 2-6-2 in their last 10 games. Toronto endured an eight-game losing streak before beating the Anaheim Ducks.<\/a> However, the Leafs will be without captain Auston Matthews<\/a> for the rest of the season. William Nylander<\/a> leads the club assists (39) and points (62).<\/p>\n

Alex Lyon<\/a> is the projected starter for the Sabres but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Buffalo is in the rarified air of first place in the Atlantic Division. The Sabers are 8-2 in the previous 10 games but did lose in its last time on ice. Tage Thompson<\/a> leads the club in goals (34), assists (36), and points (70) so far this campaign.<\/p>\n

Toronto may come out with some fire after losing Matthews. However, Buffalo should get the win.<\/p>\n

San Jose Sharks vs Montreal Canadiens<\/h2>\n

Game two of our NHL predictions is a high-flying affair between the San Jose Sharks<\/a> and the Montreal Canadiens<\/a>. Alex Nedeljkovic<\/a> will get the call for the Sharks, who are 4-4-2 in their last 10 games. San Jose was in the second wild card spot in the Western Conference entering this game. Macklin Celebrini<\/a> is having a great second season with 33 goals, 58 assists, and 91 points.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jakub Dobes<\/a> has been locked in as the starter for Montreal, which is 6-1-3 in its last 10 games. This includes three consecutive victories heading into this game. Cole Caufield<\/a> should be back in the lineup after an illness. He leads the team in goals with 37 so far this campaign.<\/p>\n

There are some exciting young players on both ends of the ice. However, the Habs score the victory at home.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Canadiens win 4-3.<\/p>\n

Detroit Red Wings vs Dallas Stars<\/h2>\n

Head-to-Head: Red Wings 1-0 Stars<\/h3>\n

Time: <\/strong>8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

Our final game of NHL predictions has the Detroit Red Wings<\/a> looking for the season sweep against the Dallas Stars.<\/a> Injuries have bitten the Red Wings fairly hard in recent weeks. Detroit is 4-5-1 in its last 10 games, including losses in four of its last five. Alex DeBrincat<\/a> has five points in the team’s last 10 games. John Gibson<\/a> is the projected starter for the Wings.<\/p>\n

Jake Oettinger<\/a> is the confirmed starter for Dallas, which is 9-0-1 in its last 10 games. The Stars have piled up the points and could be a problem in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Jason Robertson<\/a> has collected eight points in the Stars’ last 10 games.<\/p>\n

The Red Wings have been struggling with injuries, and the Stars have been hot. Dallas should continue that.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Stars win 4-1.<\/em><\/p>\n

Best Bets<\/h3>\n

We close out NHL predictions some prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to our featured game for our preferred props. The over\/under for the Maple Leafs versus the Sabres is 6.5, and we like the over.<\/p>\n

As for individual props, go with Alex Tuch<\/a> to get a goal for Buffalo. On the Toronto side of things, take John Tavares<\/a> to get at least a point.<\/p>\n
