Our opening game<\/a> of NHL predictions is the first meeting of the season between the Anaheim Ducks<\/a> and the Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a>. Lukas Dostal<\/a> is the projected starter for the Ducks but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Anaheim is entering this game is 8-2 in its previous 10 games, including wins in three of the last four games. Cutter Gauthier<\/a> leads the club in goals (32) and points (57).<\/p>\n

Joseph Woll<\/a> is the expected starter for Toronto, which is 2-6-2 in its last 10 games. This includes eight consecutive losses after sweeping the Alberta teams. It’s turning into a season to forget for Toronto, which has fallen well short of expectations. William Nylander<\/a> is first in assists (38) and points (60) for the Maple Leafs.<\/p>\n

Anaheim is currently in first in the Pacific Division, while Toronto is playing out the string. The Ducks should win this one.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Ducks win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Washington Capitals vs Buffalo Sabres<\/h2>\n

Our second game of NHL predictions has the Washington Capitals<\/a> taking on the red-hot Buffalo Sabres<\/a>. Charlie Lindgren<\/a> is the probable starter after Logan Thompson<\/a> started in the 4-1 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.<\/a> Washington is 5-5 in its last 10 games after losing the Philadelphia on Wednesday night. Alex Ovechkin<\/a> and Tom Wilson<\/a> are joint leaders in goals scored with 24 this season.<\/p>\n

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen<\/a> is the likely starter for Buffalo, which has won eight consecutive games and gotten points in nine of the last 10 games. The Sabres are the unlikely leaders atop the Atlantic Division are playing so of their best hockey in over a decade. Tage Thompson<\/a> is tops in goals (34) and points (70) so far this campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n

Buffalo has been piling up the goals and Washington is coming off a tough loss on Wednesday. The Sabres should keep momentum going.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Sabres win 5-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Edmonton Oilers vs Dallas Stars<\/h2>\n

Time:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EST)<\/p>\n

Our final and featured game of NHL predictions has the Edmonton Oilers<\/a> trying to avoid the season sweep against the Dallas Stars<\/a>. Tristan Jarry<\/a> is the expected starter in goal for the Oilers, who are 4-6 in their last 10 games. However, Edmonton has won three of its last four games entering this Stanley Cup Playoff rematch. Connor McDavid<\/a> has already hit the 110-point mark so far this campaign.<\/p>\n

Jake Oettinger<\/a> is the projected starter for Dallas, which is 9-0-1 in its last 10 games. The Stars have playing just as well as the Sabres in this recent stretch. Jason Robertson<\/a> is tied with Wyatt Johnston<\/a> for first on the team in goals with 34.<\/p>\n

Edmonton has been playing better as of late. However, Dallas should continue its hot streak.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Stars win 3-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Best Bets<\/h3>\n

We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s stay with our featured game for our preferred props. The over\/under for the Oilers and the Stars is 6.5, and we like the under in this game.<\/p>\n

As far as individual props, go with Leon Draisaitl<\/a> to get a power-play goal in this game. On the Dallas side of things, take Miro Heiskanen<\/a> to get at least a point.<\/p>\n
