Mario Ferraro Contract Details Announced<\/h2>\n

Ferraro has only played for the Sharks across his seven-year NHL career. The Toronto native had seven goals and 16 assists for 23 points in 82 games in 2025-26. Furthermore, he had an average ice time of 21:02 a game. Ferraro had a Corsi for percent of 38.1 and a relative Corsi of -13.7, in a largely defensive role.<\/p>\n

Ferraro has 24 goals and 90 assists and 114 points across 490 career games. San Jose originally drafted in the second round, 49th overall of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. He had a standout career at the University of Massachusetts.<\/p>\n

The defender has also represented his native Canada at the international level. Ferraro was part of the Team Canada squad that won the Gold Medal at the 2021 IIHF World Championships in Riga, Latvia.<\/p>\n
