Our opening game of NHL predictions has old rivals getting together on Hockey Night in Canada as the Montreal Canadiens<\/a> visit the Boston Bruins.<\/a> Montreal is expected to give Sam Montembeault the start in goal. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Canadiens are 6-3-1 in their previous 10 games but are coming off a loss to the Buffalo Sabres<\/a> last time out. Nick Suzuki<\/a> leads the team in assists (41) and points (57) so far this season.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jeremy Swayman<\/a> is the probable starter for the Bruins, who are 8-2 in their last 10 games. Boston did beat the Vegas Golden Knights<\/a> in its last time on ice. The Bruins have the fourth-best power play unit in the league with a 26.4 percent success rate. David Pastrnak<\/a> continues to be the standard bearer for the Bruins with 21 goals and 42 assists for 63 points.<\/p>\n

Both teams have been playing well as of late. However, Boston breaks the trend of the road team winning in this season series.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Bruins win 4-3.<\/p>\n
