The 2025-26 Ottawa Senators Mid-Season Review, Where Are We?<\/h2>\n

The latest development, besides Mads Sogaard<\/a> and Leevi Merilainen<\/a> were lit up by the Colorado Avalanche<\/a> 8-2, was that James Reimer<\/a> has been signed to a professional tryout. That was a necessary move, given that no one really had extensive NHL experience.<\/p>\n

The @Senators<\/a> have signed veteran goalie James Reimer to an AHL PTO. Expect Reimer to report to Ottawa in a few days with an NHL contract. Ultimately, the hope is Reimer will provide good backup to Linus Ullmark when he returns from Personal
