Colorado is expected to give <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/w\/wedgesc01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Scott Wedgewood<\/a> the start in goal. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Avs are rolling with a 10-game winning streak and staking their claim to being the best team in the league. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/m\/mackina01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nathan MacKinnon<\/a> is making an early case for the Hart Trophy with 18 goals, 21 assists, and 39 points so far this campaign.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/w\/wallsje01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jesper Wallstedt<\/a> is the projected starter for the Wild, and he has yet to lose in regulation this season. Minnesota has its own lengthy winning streak with a six-game run, which makes it 8-1-1 in the last 10 games. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/kapriki01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kirill Kaprizov<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/boldyma01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Matt Boldy<\/a> have identical stat lines of 14 goals and 14 assists for 28 points for the Wild.<\/p>\n<p>This should be a great early-season matchup, but the Avalanche will keep the good times going with a win. However, Montreal has gotten victories in its last two games entering this matchup. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/suzukni01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nick Suzuki<\/a> is off to a great start with 19 assists and 26 points so far this campaign.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/schmiak01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Akira Schmid<\/a> is the probable starter for the Golden Knights, who have lost in seven of their last 10 games. However, Vegas has five overtime or shootout losses in that time span. Schmid has only one regulation so far this season. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/e\/eicheja01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jack Eichel<\/a> is topping the assists (21) and points (31) categories for the Knights. Captain <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/stonema01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mark Stone<\/a> is also back in the lineup for the hosts.<\/p>\n<p>Both teams are looking to get a win in a rematch of the 2021 Stanley Cup semifinal series. Thomas Milic could make his NHL debut, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/c\/comrier01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eric Comrie<\/a> may get the start for the Jets. It&#8217;s been sledding without <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/helleco01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Connor Hellebuyck<\/a>, with Winnipeg losing its last three games in a row. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/scheima01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mark Scheifele<\/a> leads in goals (12) and points (29) for the Jets.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/a\/anderfr01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Frederik Andersen<\/a> is the expected starter for the Hurricanes, who are 5-3-2 in the last 10 games. However, Carolina should pick up the win.<\/p>\n<p><em>Prediction: Hurricanes win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Prop Bets of the Night<\/h3>\n<p>We round out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let&#8217;s go back to the opening game for our preferred props. The over\/under for the Colorado versus Minnesota game is 6.5, and we like the over in this.<\/p>\n<p>As for individual props, go with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/e\/eriksjo02.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joel Eriksson Ek<\/a> to get an assists for the Wild.
