The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2025\/11\/18\/nhl-predictions-november-18-new-york-islanders-dallas-stars\/\" target=\"_self\">Dallas Stars<\/a> got a 4-3 shootout win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2025\/11\/22\/nhl-predictions-nov-22-edmonton-oilers-vs-florida-panthers\/\" target=\"_self\">Edmonton Oilers<\/a> at the American Airlines Center on November 4. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/r\/rantami01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-24_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mikko Rantanen<\/a> posted two goals and an assist for the Stars in the victory. However, the Finn won&#8217;t be in the lineup because he will be suspended for this game.<\/p>\n<p>Rantanen is receiving the suspension due to getting two game misconduct penalties before playing 41 consecutive regular-season games without such a penalty. Dallas will have to find a way to cope without the talented right wing.<\/p>\n<p>Edmonton is hoping that a victory over the defending champion <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2025\/10\/12\/florida-extends-gadjovich\/\" target=\"_self\">Florida Panthers<\/a> can finally kickstart its season. However, a game against the Stars after a long road swing won&#8217;t be an easy proposition.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s take a look at this one game in Tuesday&#8217;s NHL predictions. However, the Stars lost to the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2025\/11\/23\/nhl-predictions-nov-23-calgary-flames-vs-vancouver-canucks\/\" target=\"_self\">Calgary Flames<\/a> via a 3-2 shootout on Saturday night. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/r\/roberja01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-24_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jason Robertson<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/hintzro01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-24_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Roope Hintz<\/a> notched goals, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/d\/desmica01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-24_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Casey DeSmith<\/a> made 31 saves in a losing effort.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/o\/oettija01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-24_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jake Oettinger<\/a> is expected to get the call in between the pipes for this game. The Stars occupy second in the Central Division, while the Oilers sit in sixth place in the Pacific Division.<\/p>\n<p>This will be the first home game for Edmonton after a long road swing, and they&#8217;ll have a chance to go into the holiday weekend with a victory. Not having to deal with a talented player like Rantanen will help. However, Dallas won&#8217;t be a pushover. Despite this, the hosts should get the win.<\/p>\n<p><em>Prediction: Oilers win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Prop Bets of the Night<\/h3>\n<p>We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. The over\/under for the Stars versus the Oilers is 6.5, and we like the over in this game.<\/p>\n<p>As for individual props, go with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/heiskmi01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-11-24_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Miro Heiskanen<\/a> to get at least a point for Dallas.
