We open up NHL predictions with our featured game<\/a> between the Oilers and the Capitals. The embattled Stuart Skinner<\/a> is the projected starter for Edmonton. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Oilers are 4-4-2 in the last 10 games, and that includes a loss to the Buffalo Sabres<\/a> in the previous game. Connor McDavid<\/a> leads the team in assists (21) and points (30), while Leon Draisaitl<\/a> is first in goals with 13.<\/p>\n

Washington is expected to give Logan Thompson<\/a> the start in goal. The Capitals are 3-5-2 in the last 10 games, but did get a victory in their last outing. Both Washington and Edmonton have been inconsistent at the start of the campaign. Tom Wilson<\/a> is first on the club in goals (9) and points (18).<\/p>\n

Edmonton has struggled to keep the puck out of the net, while Washington has been better defensively.<\/p>\n
