We open up NHL predictions with the Minnesota Wild<\/a> visiting the Carolina Hurricanes<\/a>. Filip Gustavsson<\/a> is the expected starter for the Wild, but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Minnesota has won two consecutive games, but is also 3-4-3 in the last 10 games entering this matchup. Kirill Kaprizov<\/a> leads the team in goals (8), assists (10), and points (18) so far this season.<\/p>\n

Frederik Andersen<\/a> is the probable starter for the Hurricanes, who are coming off a 3-0 shutout of the New York Rangers<\/a>. Carolina is 6-4 in the last 10 games heading into this game. Seth Jarvis<\/a> leads the club in goals (8) and points (12), while Sebastian Aho<\/a> is first in assists wth eight.<\/p>\n

Both teams are coming off wins the last time out. However, the Hurricanes pick up the victory.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Hurricanes win 4-2.<\/p>\n

Montreal Canadiens vs New Jersey Devils<\/h3>\n

Our featured game of NHL predictions is a battle of first-place teams in the Eastern Conference between the Canadiens and Devils. Montreal will go with Jakub Dobes<\/a> between the pipes. The Habs lost the last time out, but are 7-2-1 in the last 10 games. Team captain Nick Suzuki<\/a> is off to a blistering start with 16 assists and 19 points. Cole Caufield<\/a> leads Montreal in goals with 10 so far this campaign.<\/p>\n

Jacob Markstrom<\/a> is the projected starter for the Devils, who have also won seven of their last 10 games. New Jersey averages a total of 3.54 goals scored, which is good enough to be tied for sixth. Jack Hughes<\/a> is topping the club in goals (10) and points (16), but Jesper Bratt<\/a> has the most assists on the team with nine.<\/p>\n

This should be a good matchup. Take Montreal to get the win on the road.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Canadiens win 4-3 in overtime.<\/p>\n

Florida Panthers vs Los Angeles Kings<\/h3>\n

Our last game of NHL predictions has the Florida Panthers<\/a> visiting the Los Angeles Kings<\/a>. Florida is expected to start Sergei Bobrovsky<\/a> in the crease for this game. The Panthers are 3-6-1 in the last 10 games, including a loss the last time on ice. Brad Marchand<\/a> is first on the team in goals (7) and points so far this season. Mackie Samoskevich<\/a> has the most assists on the Panthers so far, with seven.<\/p>\n

Darcy Kuemper<\/a> is the likely starter for the Kings, who are 5-2-3 in the last 10 games. Los Angeles is starting to bounce back after some injuries to start the year. Adrian Kempe<\/a> is tied for first in goals with six, but he’s first in assists (10) and points (16) this campaign.<\/p>\n

Florida has so many injuries to deal with, and Los Angeles should win this one.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Kings win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Prop Bets of the Night<\/h3>\n

We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to our featured game for our preferred props of the night. The over\/under<\/a> for the Canadiens and Devils is 5.5, and we like the over due to the prowess of both offences.<\/p>\n

As for individual props, go with Lane Hutson<\/a> to get a power-play point for the Canadiens. On the Devils’ end of things, take Luke Hughes<\/a> to record at least an assist.<\/p>\n
