We open up NHL predictions with the Los Angeles Kings<\/a> visiting the Dallas Stars.<\/a> Darcy Kuemper<\/a> is the expected starter, but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Kuemper has been dealing with nagging injuries, so keep an eye on that. Los Angeles has lost five of its first seven games, but did win in its last time out. Adrian Kempe<\/a> leads the club in points with nine, but Kevin Fiala<\/a> is topping the goal charts with four.<\/p>\n

Jake Oettinger<\/a> is the projected starter for Dallas, which has lost three consecutive games after opening the campaign with three wins in a row. This includes a pair of defeats at the American Airlines Center. Mikko Rantanen<\/a> is first on the Stars in points with seven, while Wyatt Johnston<\/a> is leading the way in goals with four.<\/p>\n

Dallas is struggling as of late, but it should rebound with a victory.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Stars win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Carolina Hurricanes vs Colorado Avalanche<\/h3>\n

Our next game of NHL predictions may say the Carolina Hurricanes<\/a> versus Colorado Avalanche.<\/a> However, it’ll look the Hartford Whalers<\/a> taking on the Quebec Nordiques<\/a>. Frederik Andersen<\/a> is the likely starter for Carolina, which finally lost to the Vegas Golden Knights<\/a> in the last game. The Canes are led by Seth Jarvis<\/a> in goals (6) and points (9), while Sebastian Aho<\/a> and Shayne Gostisbehere<\/a> are tied for first in assists with six.<\/p>\n

Scott Wedgewood<\/a> is off to a strong start and is the probable starter for the Avalanche, who have yet to lose in regulation. Wedgewood has a 5-0-2 record with a 1.84 goals-against-average. Martin Necas<\/a> is first in assists (6) and points (11), while Nathan MacKinnon<\/a> is leading in goals with six.<\/p>\n

This should be one of the better games and it’ll bring back memories. However, Colorado should get the victory at home.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Avalanche win 4-3 in overtime.<\/p>\n

Montreal Canadiens vs Edmonton Oilers<\/h3>\n

Our final and featured game<\/a> of NHL predictions has the Canadiens visiting the Oilers. Sam Montembeault<\/a> is the confirmed starter with Jakub Dobes<\/a> starting the night before against the Calgary Flames<\/a>. Montreal is 5-2 to start the season as of Wednesday’s game against the Flames. Nick Suzuki<\/a> is leading the team in assists (nine) and points (10) so far this campaign. However, Cole Caufield<\/a> is first on the team in goals with five.<\/p>\n

Stuart Skinner<\/a> is the projected starter for the Oilers, who are off to an inconsistent start this season. Edmonton is 3-3-1 to begin the campaign and have been far from the level of being the two-time Western Conference winners. Connor McDavid<\/a> is the team’s leader in assists (7) and points (8). Ryan Nugent-Hopkins<\/a> and Leon Draisaitl<\/a> are tied for first in goals with four.<\/p>\n

This should also be a good game, but Edmonton records the win with Montreal having played the night before.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Oilers win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s stay with our featured game for our prop bets of the night. The over\/under is 6.5, and we think that the over is the right play.<\/p>\n

As for individual props, go with Ivan Demidov<\/a> to get the over on 0.5 assists for Montreal. As for Edmonton, go with Draisaitl to notch a power-play goal.<\/p>\n
