2024-25 Season Series: Blues Won, 2-1<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Blues and Kings met three times last season. In a unique scheduling twist, all three meetings took place within an eight-day period in early March. The two teams saw a lot of each other during that stretch. The Blues won two of the three games to win the season series for a second straight season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Blues’ Story<\/span><\/h4>\n

After an embarrassing loss on Wednesday, the Blues bounced back with a strong showing on Saturday. Jordan Binnington<\/a> was a brick wall in the net. Jordan Kyrou<\/a> scored his first of the season. Rookie Jimmy Snuggerud<\/a> scored his third of the season. It was a great bounce-back game for the\u00a0<\/span>Blue Note<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The big question surrounding the Blues heading into Tuesday’s game is what the lineup will look like. Based on practice today, it seems like Binnington will return between the pipes. Oskar Sundqvist<\/a> could return to the <\/span>lineup<\/span><\/a>, although that seems unlikely. It appears that we will <\/span>see the same group of players<\/span><\/a> on the ice <\/span>on <\/span>Tuesday as we did on Saturday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Kings’ Story<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Kings are 1-3-2 on the young season. <\/span>Injuries<\/span><\/a> to Anze Kopitar<\/a> and Corey Perry<\/a> have forced the team to play without the anticipated lineup so far. Despite being shorthanded, the team was hoping for a better start to the season. They have lost four games in a row, with all but one being decided by a single goal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Goaltending has been a struggle for the Kings so far. Darcy Kuemper<\/a> has posted a 3.35 goals against average alongside an .868 save percentage. Anton Forsberg<\/a>, meanwhile, has posted a 3.89 goals against average alongside an .880 save percentage. The Kings have allowed three or more goals in every game this season. This has forced their offence to try and play catch-up, which they have only been able to do once, beating the <\/span>Vegas Golden Knights<\/span><\/a>, 6-5.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prediction<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Blues have a collection of scorers and playmakers on their team. The Kings’ goaltending is in for another tough day at the office. We do think the goaltending keeps them in the game. However, we do not expect the trend of three or more goals to end Tuesday night. Furthermore, we do not expect the Kings’ losing streak to end either.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Blues win, 4-2.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Prop Bets<\/span><\/h3>\n

The over\/under is set at 5.5 goals. We are taking the over with six goals between the two teams.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For prop bets, we are picking Kevin Fiala<\/a> to score his team-leading fifth goal of the season for the Kings. For the Blues, we are picking Dylan Holloway<\/a> to score his second goal of the season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you like special teams, we are also thinking both teams score a power-play goal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
