We start off this round of NHL predictions with our featured game between the Panthers and Red Wings. Florida is expected to give Sergei Bobrovsky<\/a> the start in goal. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy goalie. Florida is coming off a 5-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers<\/a> on Monday night. Brad Marchand<\/a> and Anton Lundell<\/a> are tied for the team’s lead in points with four so far this season. Sam Reinahrt is tied with the duo for top scorer with two goals in the early portion of this campaign.<\/p>\n

Cam Talbot<\/a> is expected to get the start for Detroit in this game. The Red Wings are coming off back-to-back wins over the Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a>. However, the schedule doesn’t get any easier with the defending Stanley Cup champions coming to town. Patrick Kane<\/a> and Alex DeBrincat<\/a> are tied for first in points with four. Dylan Larkin<\/a> and Lucas Raymond<\/a> are joint-first for goals with two. However, Raymond’s injury could leave a big hole in the lineup.<\/p>\n

Detroit is flying high, but Florida will be ready after a lackluster performance the other night.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Panthers win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Calgary Flames vs Utah Mammoth<\/h3>\n

Our last game of NHL predictions has the Calgary Flames<\/a> visiting the Utah Mammoth.<\/a> Calgary will go with Devin Cooley<\/a> after Dustin Wolf<\/a> started the night before. The Flames are looking for their first-ever win over the Mammoth after being swept last season. Calgary had lost two consecutive games going into Tuesday’s game with the Vegas Golden Knights<\/a>. Matthew Coronato<\/a> was the team’s leader in goals (2) and points (3) before Tuesday night’s matchup.<\/p>\n

Karel Vejmelka<\/a> is the expected starter for Utah, which has alternated wins and losses to start the new season. The Mammoth are dealing with injuries after losing Sean Durzi<\/a> for several weeks. Utah is coming off a 3-1 setback to the Chicago Blackhawks<\/a> at the United Center on Monday. Dylan Guenther<\/a> is topping the Mammoth in goals (2) and points (4) at this juncture.<\/p>\n

Calgary will be coming off a tough night against Vegas and will be playing its backup. Utah should record the win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Mammoth win 4-1.<\/em><\/p>\n

Prop Bets of the Night<\/h3>\n

We round out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to our featured matchup for some of our preferred props. The over\/under in several spots is 5.5, and we like the two teams to hit the over.<\/p>\n

As for individual props, go with Marchand to continue his hot start with the over on 1.0 points. On the Detroit side, take Larkin to get a power-play point.<\/p>\n
