These moments can define a team\u2019s destiny for years to come. Last Word on Hockey\u2019s Summer series looks at these defining moments. Today we featured the biggest defining moment of the Anaheim Ducks<\/em><\/p>\n

Anaheim is a franchise whose rise from expansion novelty to championship contender culminated in a moment that not only changed their destiny, but also reshaped hockey\u2019s footprint in the United States. From Disney gimmicks to championship glory, the Ducks story is one of reinvention, resilience, and reward. In 2007, everything changed\u2014forever.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a look at the moment that defined the Anaheim Ducks.<\/p>\n

Anaheim Ducks Defining Moment<\/h2>\n

The Anaheim Ducks defining moment came on June\u202f6,\u202f2007<\/a>, when they won their first-ever Stanley Cup, defeating the Ottawa Senators<\/a> 6\u20132 in Game\u202f5 at the Honda Center.
