The Oilers showcased resilience by winning Games 3 and 4 on home ice, including a thrilling 4\u20133 overtime victory in Game 4, where Leon Draisaitl<\/a> netted the game-winner. As the series shifts back to Los Angeles, both teams are vying for a pivotal Game 5 win to gain momentum in this tightly-contested matchup.<\/p>\n

Oilers Ride Momentum and Star Power into Game 5<\/h3>\n

Edmonton has roared back into the series behind explosive offence from their biggest stars. Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid<\/a> have been nearly unstoppable, each posting nine points so far. Evan Bouchard<\/a> has emerged as a major factor from the blueline, recording seven points while quarterbacking the resurgent power play. The switch to Calvin Pickard<\/a> in goal has paid off, providing stability when the Oilers needed it most. The Kings have been excellent at home all season and should benefit from last change to better matchup against Edmonton\u2019s stars. However, the Oilers\u2019 offence is clicking at a dangerous level. Expect another close, high-energy game, but a motivated Kings squad, fuelled by a raucous home crowd, should be able to edge out the win.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
