Detroit Red Wings vs Florida Panthers<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Red Wings 2-0 Panthers<\/h4>\n

TV:<\/strong> Fan Duel Sports Detroit; Scripps Florida; ESPN+<\/p>\n

We open up NHL predictions with an Atlantic Division matchup between the Detroit Red Wings<\/a> and Florida Panthers<\/a>. Detroit is slated to start Cam Talbot<\/a> in goal for this game. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Red Wings are 4-5-1 in the last 10 games and are likely to miss the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Alex DeBrincat<\/a> has been a bright spot with 35 goals and 30 assists for Detroit.<\/p>\n

Sergei Bobrovsky<\/a> is the projected starter for the Panthers, who are 4-5-1 in the last 10 games. However, Florida did get a win in its last time out. Injuries have really hampered the Cats in the last month or so. Aleksander Barkov<\/a> has collected 19 goals and 49 assists for the Panthers.<\/p>\n

Detroit is looking for the season-sweep, but Florida gets a victory.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Panthers win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Carolina Hurricanes vs Washington Capitals<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Hurricanes 2-1 Capitals<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 7:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> SN1; Hulu; Disney+; ESPN+; Monumental Sports Network<\/p>\n

Our second game of NHL predictions has the Carolina Hurricanes<\/a> visiting the Washington Capitals<\/a>. Carolina is expected to give the start to Frederik Andersen<\/a> for this game. The Canes are 5-5 in the last 10 games and that includes three straight defeats. Taylor Hall<\/a> has adjusted to life with his new team with five goals with three assists over the last 10 games.<\/p>\n

Charlie Lindgren<\/a> is likely to get the start in the crease for the Capitals, who are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games. However, Washington did lose in its last time on ice. Alex Ovechkin<\/a> has surpassed Wayne Gretzky<\/a> for the all-time goal record with 42 goals and 27 assists this season for the Capitals.<\/p>\n

Both teams have already solidified post-season spots, but Washington takes the victory.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Capitals win 3-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Winnipeg Jets vs Dallas Stars<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Jets 2-1 Stars<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> TSN3; Victory+; ESPN+<\/p>\n

The last game<\/a> of NHL predictions should be a good one as the Jets battle the Stars in a possible post-season preview. Winnipeg is likely to go with Connor Hellebuyck<\/a> in between the pipes for this game. The jets are 6-4 in the last 10 games and trying to secure the President’s Trophy. Winnipeg is dealing with some injuries, but still a capable team. Mark Scheifele<\/a> has racked up 38 goals and 46 assists for the Jets.<\/p>\n

Jake Oettinger<\/a> is supposed to get the start in this game for Dallas, which is 7-1-2 in the last 10 games. However, the Stars are entering this divisional matchup on a three-game losing streak. Dallas to seal up at least home ice with a win in this game. Jason Robertson<\/a> has posted 34 goals and 44 assists for Dallas.<\/p>\n

Winnipeg is coming into this one banged and this should allow Dallas to get the coveted second spot in the division.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Stars win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Prop Bets of the Night<\/h3>\n

We round out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s stay with our featured game for this one. On the Winnipeg end of things, go with Kyle Connor<\/a> to score a power-play goal. For Dallas, pick Wyatt Johnston<\/a> to get the over on 0.5 assists.<\/p>\n
