We open NHL predictions with the Montreal Canadiens<\/a> visiting the Florida Panthers<\/a>. Sam Montembeault<\/a> is the projected starter for the Canadiens, but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Montreal has picked a bad time to go on a five-game losing streak and it’s 3-4-3 in the last 10 games. However, Juraj Slafkovsky<\/a> has generated five goals and added four assists over the last 10 games.<\/p>\n

Sergei Bobrovsky<\/a> is the confirmed starter for the Panthers, who are 6-4 in the last 10 games. Florida has also won two straight games as it battles for first in the Atlantic Division. Sam Bennett<\/a> has been averaging a point a games as of late with six goals and four assists over the past 10 games.<\/p>\n

Both teams need points for different reasons, but Montreal stops the bleeding today.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Canadiens win 3-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Buffalo Sabres vs Washington Capitals<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Sabres 1-1 Capitals<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 3 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> MSG Buffalo; Monumental Sports Network; SN 360; ESPN+<\/p>\n

Our second game of NHL predictions has the Buffalo Sabre<\/a>s and Washington Capitals<\/a> squaring off for the third time this season. Buffalo is expected to go with the hot hand with James Reimer<\/a> in net. The Sabres are 6-4 in the last 10, but are coming off a loss in their last game.\u00a0Ryan McLeod<\/a> has been playing very well lately with three goals and 10 assists over the last 10 games.<\/p>\n

Washington is likely to go with Logan Thompson<\/a> between the pipes for this game. The Capitals are 7-2-1 in the last 10 games, but are actually on a two-game losing streak. Aliaksei Protas<\/a> is continuing his breakout season with six goals and seven assists over the last 10 games.<\/p>\n

Buffalo has actually been playing well as of late, but Washington gets back on track.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Capitals win 5-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Vancouver Canucks vs Winnipeg Jets<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Canucks 1-1 Jets<\/h4>\n

Time: 6 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

TV: SN Pacific; TSN3; ESPN+<\/p>\n

Our last game<\/a> of NHL predictions is our featured contest between the Canucks and Jets. Thatcher Demko<\/a> is the expected starter for Vancouver, which is 5-3-2 in the last 10 games. The Canucks are six points adrift of the second wild card spot in the Western Conference. Brock Boeser<\/a> has totaled 24 goals and 22 assists for Vancouver.<\/p>\n

Connor Hellebuyck<\/a> is the probable starter for Winnipeg, which is 7-3 in the last 10 games. The Jets are also winners of the last two games as they try to hold off the Capitals for the President’s Trophy. Mark Scheifele<\/a> has post one goal and eight assists over the past 10 games.<\/p>\n

The Cnaucks need points to stay alive, but Jets find a way to win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Jets win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Prop Bets of the Night<\/h3>\n

We close out NHL predictions with our prop bets of the night. Let’s stay with our featured game for our main choices. For Vancouver, take Quinn Hughes<\/a> to get the over on 1.5 points. On the Winnipeg end of things, go with Kyle Connor<\/a> to get a goal on the power play.<\/p>\n
