We open up NHL predictions with the Utah Hockey Club<\/a> visiting the Florida Panthers.<\/a> Karel Vejmelka<\/a> is the expected starter for Utah HC, but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Utah is 4-4-2 in the last 10 games, including two straight defeats. Clayton Keller<\/a> leads the team in assists (54) and points (78).<\/p>\n

Florida is expected to go with Sergei Bobrovsky<\/a> in between the pipes for this game. The Panthers are 6-4 in the last 10 games and got a victory in its last time out. Sam Reinart is tops in goals (35) and points (75) for Florida.<\/p>\n

Both teams are in need of points, but Florida gets the victory.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Panthers win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Montreal Canadiens vs Carolina Hurricanes<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Canadiens 1-0 Hurricanes<\/h4>\n

Time<\/strong>: 7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> TSN2; Fan Duel Sports South; ESPN+<\/p>\n

Our featured game<\/a> of NHL predictions has the Canadiens trying to get back on track against the Hurricanes. Sam Montembeault<\/a> is the expected starter after Jakub Dobes<\/a> played the night before. The Habs are 3-4-4 in the last 10 games and lead both New York hockey teams by one point for the second wild card spot. Nick Suzuki<\/a> is first in assists (52) and points (74) for the Canadiens.<\/p>\n

Carolina is expected to start Frederik Andersen<\/a> in net for this game. The Hurricanes are 8-2 in the last 10 games, but lost in its last time out. Carolina is solid at the Lenovo Center with a 27-8-1 record at home. Andrei Svechnikov<\/a> has registered 18 goals and 25 assists for the Hurricanes.<\/p>\n

Montreal needs to stop the bleeding, but Carolina is strong at home.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Hurricanes win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

New Jersey Devils vs Winnipeg Jets<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Devils 0-1 Jets<\/h4>\n

Time<\/strong>: 7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> TSN3; MSGSN; ESPN+<\/p>\n

Our next game in NHL predictions has the New Jersey Devils<\/a> taking on the Winnipeg Jets<\/a>. Jacob Markstrom<\/a> is the probable starter for the Devils, who are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games. Timo Meier<\/a> has tallied six goals and one assist over the past 10 games for New Jersey.<\/p>\n

Connor Hellebuyck<\/a> is the expected starter for the Jets, who are 7-3 in the last 10 games entering this matchup. Winnipeg is 26-6-4 at home this campaign. Nikolaj Ehlers<\/a> is nearly averaging a point a game as of late with five goals and four assists over the last 10 games.<\/p>\n

The Jets are trying to keep pace for the President’s Trophy and should get the win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Jets win 5-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Vegas Golden Knights vs Chicago Blackhawks<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Golden Knights 1-1 Blackhawks<\/h4>\n
