We open up NHL predictions with the Vegas Golden Knights<\/a> visiting the Minnesota Wild.<\/a> Vegas is expected to start Adin Hill<\/a> in between the pipes for this one. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Golden Knights are 6-2-2 in the last 10 games, including three straight victories. Tomas Hertl<\/a> has been really coming on strong and has 31 goals and 28 assists for Vegas.<\/p>\n

Marc-Andre Fleury<\/a> gets the start after the Wild were shutout by the Dallas Stars<\/a> last night. Minnesota is 5-4-1 in the last 10 games, but did get blanked by Dallas last time out. The Wild are a stellar 35-3-2 when they score at least three goals in a game. Marco Rossi<\/a> has tallied 22 goals and 32 assists for Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Vegas has been playing great and Minnesota is coming off a tough game against Dallas.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Golden Knights win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Washington Capitals vs Winnipeg Jets<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Capitals 0-1 Jets<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> TSN3; Monumental Sports Network; ESPN+<\/p>\n

Our featured game<\/a> of NHL predictions could decide the President’s Trophy as the Jets host the Capitals. Washington is expected to start Logan Thompson<\/a> in the blue paint for this game. The Caps are coming into this game on a four-game winning streak, including a 9-1 mark in the last 10 games. Alex Ovechkin<\/a> has 35 goals and 24 assists for Washington as he tries to track down Wayne Gretzky<\/a> for the all-time goals record.<\/p>\n

Connor Hellebuyck<\/a> is the probable starter for the Jets, who are 6-4 in the last 10 games. However, Winnipeg is coming off a loss in its last time on the ice. The Jets are the top defensive when it comes to goals allowed at 2.38 given up per game. \u00a0Gabriel Vilardi<\/a> has posted 27 goals and 34 assists for Winnipeg.<\/p>\n

This could be a Stanley Cup Final preview, but Washington has the momentum heading into this one.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Capitals win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Detroit Red Wings vs Colorado Avalanche<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Red Wings 0-1 Avalanche<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 9 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> Fan Duel Sports Detroit; KTVD; Altitude; ESPN+<\/p>\n

The last game of this set of NHL predictions has the Detroit Red Wings<\/a> taking on the Colorado Avalanche<\/a>. Cam Talbot<\/a> is expected to draw the start for Detroit, which is 3-7 in the last 10 games. However, the Red Wings did get a much-needed victory over the Utah Hockey Club<\/a> on Monday night. Team captain Dylan Larkin<\/a> has generated 28 goals and 34 assists for Detroit.<\/p>\n

Mackenzie Blackwood<\/a> is the likely starter for the Avalanche, who are 8-1-1 in the last 10 games and this includes two consecutive victories. Colorado has \u00a0a 19-7-1 record when netting a power-play goal. Valeri Nichushkin<\/a> has been averaging over a point a game for the Avs with six goals and five assists over the last 10 games.<\/p>\n

This game is important for multiple reasons, but Colorado gets the win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Avalanche win 5-3.<\/em><\/p>\n
