We start NHL predictions with our featured game<\/a> between the Canucks and Devils. Vancouver is likely to start Kevin Lankinen<\/a> in goal for this game, but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Canucks are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games, but have lost the last two games entering this one. Jake DeBrusk<\/a> has registered 23 goals and 17 assists for Vancouver.<\/p>\n

Jacob Markstrom<\/a> is expected to get the start for the Devils against one of his former teams. New Jersey is 4-6 in the last 10 and that includes two straight losses. The Devils’ offence has struggled as of late with the amount of injuries have taken. Timo Meier<\/a> has tallied 20 goals with 25 assists for New Jersey.<\/p>\n

Both teams are in need of a victory, but the Devils get the two points.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Devils win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Columbus Blue Jackets vs New York Islanders<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Blue Jackets 1-1 Islanders<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 7:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> Fan Duel Sports Ohio; MSGSN; ESPN+<\/p>\n

It’s an important matchup in the Eastern Conference as the Columbus Blue Jackets<\/a> take on the New York Islanders<\/a> in the second game of NHL predictions. Elvis Merzlikins<\/a> is the probable starter for the Blue Jackets, who are 2-7-1 in the last 10. Columbus has dropped six straight games at the worst possible time. Zach Werenski<\/a> has notched 20 goals and 49 assists for the Blue Jackets.<\/p>\n

Ilya Sorokin<\/a> is expected to get the starter for the Isles, who are two points ahead of the Blue Jackets in the post-season race. New York is 5-3-2 in the last 10 games, but lose in the last game. Bo Horvat<\/a> has recorded 23 goals with 25 assists for the Islanders. Many left the Isles for dead, but they have managed to insert themselves into the Stanley Cup Playoff conversation.<\/p>\n

Both teams need a win, but Columbus snaps its recent funk.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Blue Jackets win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Minnesota Wild vs Dallas Stars<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Wild 1-1 Stars<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> Fan Duel Sports North; Fan Duel Sports Wisconsin X; Victory; ESPN+<\/p>\n

Our last featured game is a Central Division matchup between the Minnesota Wild<\/a> and the Dallas Stars<\/a>. Minnesota is projected to go with Filip Gustavsson<\/a> in between the pipes in this game. The Wild are 6-3-1 in the last 10 games and have three straight victories heading into this one. Matt \u00a0Boldy has two goals and six assists over the last 10 games for Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Jake Oettinger<\/a> is the expected starter for the Stars, who are 6-2-2 in the last 10 games entering this game. Dallas has great record against familiar foes with a 13-5-2 mark against the Central Division. Wyatt Johnston<\/a> has been averaging a point a game as of late with seven goals and three assists over the last 10 games.<\/p>\n

This could be a post-season preview, but the Stars get the win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Stars win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Detroit Red Wings vs Utah Hockey Club<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Red Wings 0-1 Utah HC<\/h3>\n

Prediction: Red Wings win 5-3.<\/em><\/p>\n
