We open up NHL predictions with a matinee matchup between the Vancouver Canucks<\/a> and the New York Rangers<\/a>. Vancouver is expected to start Kevin Lankinen<\/a> in the crease. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Canucks are 5-4-1 in the last 10, but lost last time out. Quinn Hughes<\/a> has recorded 16 goals and 50 assists for Vancouver.<\/p>\n

Igor Shesterkin<\/a> is the projected starter for the Rangers, who need to start picking up points. New York is 3-5-2 in the last 10 games and have dropped the last three games. Artemi Panarin<\/a> has been averaging over a point a game as of late with seven goals and seven assists over the last 10 games.<\/p>\n

Both teams need a victory to keep pace in their respective races. However, Vancouver gets the two points.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Canucks win 3-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Florida Panthers vs Washington Capitals<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Panthers 0-2 Capitals<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 5 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> Monumental Sports Network; Scripps Florida; ESPN+<\/p>\n

We have a big matchup between old Southeastern Division rivals in this round of NHL predictions. The Florida Panthers<\/a> are likely to start Sergei Bobrovsky<\/a> in goal for this game. Florida is 7-3 in the last 10 games entering this big Eastern Conference matchup. Aleksander Barkov<\/a> has racked up 19 goals and 44 assists for the Panthers.<\/p>\n

Logan Thompson<\/a> is the expected starter for the Washington Capitals,<\/a> who are 8-2 in the last 10 games. This includes three consecutive victories for the Metropolitan Division leaders. Tom Wilson<\/a> has played well as of late four goals and eight assists over the past 10 games.<\/p>\n

This could be a preview of the Eastern Conference Final, but Washington completes the season-sweep.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Capitals win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Colorado Avalanche vs Montreal Canadiens<\/h3>\n

Our last game<\/a> of NHL predictions is our featured matchup between the Avalanche and Canadiens. Mackenzie Blackwood<\/a> is the probable starter for Colorado, which is 8-1-1 in the last 10 games. The Avs are trying to build momentum for a likely first-round showdown with the Dallas Stars<\/a>. Nathan MacKinnon<\/a> has been his usual self with 28 goals and 77 assists for Colorado.<\/p>\n

Montreal is likely to go with Sam Montembeault<\/a> in the blue paint for this one. The Canadiens 6-1-3 in the last 10 games, but coming off an overtime-loss to the New York Islanders.<\/a> Captain Nick Suzuki<\/a> has generated 21 goals and 50 assists for the Habs, who sit in the second wild card spot in the East.<\/p>\n

Colorado got right in its last game, but faces a surging Montreal squad.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Canadiens win 3-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

We round our NHL predictions with some prop bets. Let’s stick to our featured game for tonight’s props. On the Colorado side, take Cale Makar<\/a> to get at least a power-play point. For Montreal, go with Cole Caufield<\/a> to net a goal.<\/p>\n
