Speaking of shooters, <\/span>Cutter Gauthier had a slow, snake-bitten start to the year, but has come on lately. He has seven points in his last six games.<\/span>\u00a0His versatility and scoring touch have been invaluable to a team that has struggled to score in recent years.<\/span> Sam Colangelo, despite only recently being called up, showcased his potential with five goals over a four-game stretch.<\/span> His net-front presence and ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities have not gone unnoticed. Putting these three together is one of the best coaching decisions Greg Cronin has made this season, which was evident when they combined for seven points against the Edmonton Oilers<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n

Finally, Colangelo’s proficiency around the net and his knack for converting chances align with Rakell’s reputation as a reliable finisher. Rakell and Colangelo are players who find themselves in the right place at the right time, showcasing their hockey IQ.<\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n

Looking Ahead for the Anaheim Ducks and their Young Forwards<\/strong><\/h3>\n

For a week there, it looked like this line may be able to inspire the team to go on a run and sneak into the playoffs. That’s nearly a mathematical impossibility now. MoneyPuck<\/a> has the Ducks’ odds at a whopping 0.3%.<\/p>\n
