Washington Capitals vs New York Rangers<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Capitals 2-0 Rangers<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> TNT; TruTV; Max; MSG<\/p>\n

We open up NHL predictions with our featured game with the Capitals and the Rangers. Newly-extended goalie Charlie Lindgren<\/a> is expected to get the start for Washington. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Capitals are 5-3-2 in the last 10 games and trying for the season-sweep over the Blueshirts. Pierre-Luc Dubois<\/a> has bounced back this season with 15 goals and 37 assists for Washington.<\/p>\n

Igor Shesterkin<\/a> is the projected starter for the Rangers, who have gotten two shutouts in a row. New York is coming on strong at the right time with a 7-3 mark in the last 10 games, which includes two consecutive victories. Mika Zibanejad<\/a> has been turning things around with four goals and 10 assists over the past 10 games.<\/p>\n

New York has been playing better, but Washington gets the season-sweep.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Capitals win 4-2.<\/p>\n

Ottawa Senators vs Chicago Blackhawks<\/h3>\n

Time:<\/strong> 7:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> Sportsnet; Chicago Sports Network; ESPN+<\/p>\n

Our second game of NHL predictions has the Ottawa Senators<\/a> visiting the Chicago Blackhawks.<\/a> Ottawa is expected to go with Linus Ullmark<\/a> in the crease for this one. The Senators are in the mix to finally get back to the post-season. However, a 4-5-1 mark in the last 10 games hasn’t helped their cause. Brady Tkachuk<\/a> has been strong this season with 23 goals and 21 assists for Ottawa.<\/p>\n

Possible trade candidate Petr Mrazek<\/a> is the likely starter for Chicago, but that could change before game time. The Blackhawks are 3-5-2 in the last 10 games, but that includes two straight wins entering this matchup. Teuvo Teravainen<\/a> has been playing lately with three goals and 11 assists over the past 10 games for Chicago.<\/p>\n

The Blackhawks are doing better, but the Senators need victories and points.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Senators win 5-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Toronto Maple Leafs vs Vegas Golden Knights<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Maple Leafs 1-0 Golden Knights<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> TSN4; TruTV; TNT; Max<\/p>\n

The last game<\/a> of today’s NHL predictions is the Vegas Golden Knights<\/a> hosting the Toronto Maple Leafs.<\/a> It’s likely that the Leafs will start Joseph Woll<\/a> in the blue paint for this game. Toronto is 8-1-1 in the last 10 games, but are coming off an embarrassing shootout loss to the San Jose Sharks<\/a>. Matthew Knies<\/a> is averaging a point a game as of late with six goals and four assists over the last 10 games.<\/p>\n

Adin Hill<\/a> is the projected starter for the Golden Knights, who are 5-3-2 in the last 10 games. However, Vegas has two consecutive victories entering this matchup. Jack Eichel<\/a> has been playing well this season with 19 goals and 53 assists for the Golden Knights.<\/p>\n

Toronto will be looking for a bounce-back, but Vegas has been great at home this season.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Golden Knights win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n
