We open NHL predictions with our featured game between the Flames and the Hurricanes. Dustin Wolf<\/a> is the expected starter for the Flames, but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Calgary is 4-5-1 in the last 10 games and this includes two consecutive losses. Jonathan Huberdeau<\/a> has bounced back this season with 22 goals and 21 assists for the Flames.<\/p>\n

Pyotr Kochetkov<\/a> is the projected starter for Carolina, which is 4-6 in the last 10 games. The Hurricanes are coming off a 3-1 loss the the Edmonton Oilers<\/a> are Saturday. Potential trade candidate Mikko Rantanen<\/a> has a season-total of 27 goals and 43 assists for Carolina.<\/p>\n

It’ll be a tough ask for Carolina to come off a tough game against Edmonton the night before. However, the Hurricanes will get the victory.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Hurricanes win 3-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Nashville Predators vs New York Rangers<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Predators 1-0 Rangers<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> Sportsnet; MSG 2; Fan Duel Sports South; ESPN+<\/p>\n

The second and final game<\/a> of our NHL predictions has the Nashville Predators<\/a> taking on the New York Rangers<\/a>. Justus Annunen<\/a> is the likely starter for Nashville, which is coming off a loss to the New York Islanders<\/a> on Saturday. The Predators are 3-7 in the last 10 games and are already starting to make changes to their lineup. Filip Forsberg<\/a> has been a bright spot this season 22 goals and 32 assists for Nashville.<\/p>\n

Igor Shesterkin<\/a> is the projected starter for the Rangers, who are 5-5 in the last 10 games. New York has been inconsistent as of late and that’s hurt pursuit of a Stanley Cup Playoff spot. J.T. Miller<\/a> has looked at home once again with 14 goals and 31 assists for the Rangers.<\/p>\n

Nashville did get the shutout in the first meeting of the season. However, the Rangers pick up a much-needed win.<\/p>\n

Predictions: Rangers win 4-1.<\/em><\/p>\n
