The St. Louis Blues are playing the Los Angeles Kings.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">NHL Predictions<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">St. Louis Blues vs. Los Angeles Kings<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Time:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">8:00 P.M. Eastern Time<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">TV:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">FanDuel Sports Network Midwest, KCAL-TV<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Head-to-Head: Blues Lead All-Time Series 124-92-22-4<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Blues and Kings are meeting for the first time this season. Last year, the Blues won the season series 2-1. If you are curious about who will win this year&#8217;s season series, you will not have to wait long. The three-game series will be played within the next seven days. The two teams will see a lot of each other.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Blues Busy On and Off the Ice<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Like all other NHL teams, the trade deadline has been a busy time for the Blues. The team has been busy on and off the ice. On the ice, the Blues have won three games in a row. This includes a win on <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2025\/02\/25\/nhl-predictions-february-25th-st-louis-blues-vs-seattle-kraken\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Tuesday<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, where the Blues scored seven goals, and a win on <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2025\/02\/27\/nhl-predictions-february-27th-st-louis-blues-vs-washington-capitals\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Thursday<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> against the Eastern Conference-leading <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/?s=washington+capitals\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Washington Capitals<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. In each game, the\u00a0<\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Blue Note\u00a0<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">got a two-goal performance from someone. On Tuesday, it was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/bolduza01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-02-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Zachary Bolduc<\/a>. On Thursday, it was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/brobeph01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-02-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Philip Broberg<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Off the ice, the organization has been busy as well. On Friday, the team <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nhl.com\/blues\/news\/blues-sign-tucker-to-two-year-extension\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">re-signed<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> defenceman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/t\/tuckety01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-02-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tyler Tucker<\/a> to a two-year contract extension. However, the trade deadline is providing the bulk of the off-ice business. The Blues have less than a week to decide if they will be sellers. We know the <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/?s=toronto+maple+leafs\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Toronto Maple Leafs<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> are <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2025\/02\/07\/nhl-rumours-toronto-maple-leafs-front-runners-for-st-louis-blues-captain\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">interested<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> in captain <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/schenbr01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-02-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brayden Schenn<\/a>. It will be interesting to see if the Maple Leafs can persuade Doug Armstrong to part with his captain. In addition to Schenn, it will be interesting to see if anything comes of the <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2025\/02\/16\/nhl-rumours-st-louis-blues-shopping-two-forwards\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">rumours<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that Armstrong may be shopping <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/kyroujo01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-02-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jordan Kyrou<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/buchnpa01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-02-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pavel Buchnevich<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">After Saturday, the Blues are on the road for six games. As a result, Saturday could be the last home game for any Blues who are traded.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Kings Seeking Home-Ice Advantage<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Kings are in a strong position to return to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. They are 31-17-8 and are just a few points out of first place in the Pacific Division. The Kings like where they are, but they are aiming for more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Kings have been the victims of a first-round exit each of the last three seasons. Each time, the Kings lost to the <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/?s=edmonton+oilers\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Edmonton Oilers<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. Furthermore, the Kings did not have home-ice advantage in any series. The Kings are looking to get over the hump this year. Earning home-ice advantage would help immensely. With about a month and a half left in the season, the Kings have plenty of time to not only snag home-ice but also the division title.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Prediction<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Kings come to St. Louis after playing on <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2025\/02\/28\/nhl-predictions-february-28-dallas-stars-vs-los-angeles-kings\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Friday<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. They are likely to have a different lineup when they take on the Blues, who last played on Thursday. Things are clicking for the\u00a0<\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Blue Note.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">We think they pick up the two points on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Blues win, 5-2.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<h3><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Prop Bets<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The over\/under is set at 5.5 goals. We are taking the over with seven goals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">For prop bets, we are taking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/kempead01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-02-28_hr\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adrian Kempe<\/a> as an anytime-scorer for the Kings. The Swede leads the team in goals and is nearing the 30-goal mark. For the Blues, we are taking their captain. It may be Schenn&#8217;s last game in St. Louis.
