In today\u2019s round of NHL Predictions, we are looking at the game between the\u00a0Vancouver Canucks<\/a>\u00a0vs\u00a0Vegas Golden Knights<\/a>. NHL predictions are back for the first time since February 9. The league was off for the 4 Nations Face-Off, but is back to work with today’s slate of games.<\/p>\n

NHL Predictions<\/h2>\n

Minnesota Wild vs Detroit Red Wings<\/h3>\n

Time:<\/strong> 12:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> ABC; ESPN+<\/p>\n

We open NHL predictions with our first game back from the 4 Nations Face-Off break. The Detroit Red Wings<\/a> will host the Minnesota Wild<\/a> at Little Caesar’s Arena. Filip Gustavsson<\/a> is the expected starter for the Wild, but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Minnesota went 6-4 in the last 10 games, including two straight wins before the break. Marco Rossi<\/a> has totaled 19 goals and 28 assists for the Wild.<\/p>\n

Detroit is expected to counter with Cam Talbot<\/a> in between the pipes for this game. Fantasy owners should note the early start time for this game before setting their lineups. The Red Wings were 7-2-1 in the last 10 games before the break. However, Detroit lost in the last game before the recess. Lucas Raymond<\/a> has collected 21 goals and 38 assists for the Red Wings.<\/p>\n

Both teams are playing well, but Detroit gets the victory in the first game back.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Red Wings win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

New York Rangers vs Buffalo Sabres<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Rangers 1-1 Sabres<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 5:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> MSG; MSG Buffalo; ESPN+<\/p>\n

Our second game of NHL predictions is a battle of New York teams. The Buffalo Sabres<\/a> host the New York Rangers<\/a> in an Eastern Conference matchup. New York is expected to go with Igor Shesterkin<\/a> in this game. The Blueshirts are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games prior to the 4 Nations break. Mika Zibanejad<\/a> is starting to play better as of late with three goals and seven assists over the last 10 games for the Rangers.<\/p>\n

Buffalo is likely to start Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen<\/a> in the blue paint for this game. The Sabres are 5-5 in the last 10 games, including a loss in the last game before the break. Tage Thompson<\/a> has been consistent all season with 26 goals with 22 assists for Buffalo.<\/p>\n

New York had a number of players in the 4 Nations, but should pick up the win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Rangers win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Vancouver Canucks vs Vegas Golden Knights<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Canucks 0-1 Golden Knights<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> CBC; Sportsnet; CityTV; Scripps Vegas; ESPN+<\/p>\n

The last game<\/a> of NHL predictions has the Canucks visiting the Golden Knights in a Pacific Division matchup. Newly-extended<\/a> goalie Kevin Lankinen<\/a> is slated to get the start in the crease. Vancouver is 6-3-1 in the last 10, including three straight wins before the break. Brock Boeser<\/a> is doing well in a contract year with 18 goals and 17 assists for the Canucks.<\/p>\n

Vegas is likely to run with Adin Hill<\/a> in net for this game. The Golden Knights are 4-3-3 in the last 10 games. However, Vegas does have victories in its last two games. Jack Eichel<\/a> is averaging over a point per game as of late with eight goals and five assists over the past 10 games.<\/p>\n

Both teams are playing well as of late, but Vegas has been solid at home all season long.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Golden Knights win 3-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

We finish out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go to our featured contest for some of our props. On the Canucks side, go with Elias Pettersson<\/a> (the forward) to get a point. On the Vegas side, take Mark Stone<\/a> to score.<\/p>\n
