We open NHL predictions with an emotional matchup between the Wild and the Canadiens. Minnesota has confirmed that it will go with lifelong Canadiens fan Marc-Andre Fleury<\/a> in between the pipes. The Wild are 4-6 in the last 10 games, but have won the last two games coming into this one. \u00a0Jared Spurgeon<\/a> has totaled three goals with two assists over the past 10 games for the Wild.<\/p>\n

Rookie netminder Jakub Dobes<\/a> is the confirmed starter for the Canadiens. Montreal is 5-3-2 in the last 10 games, but have dropped the last three games in a row. Former top overall pick Juraj Slafkovsky<\/a> has totaled four goals and three assists over the past 10 games.<\/p>\n

It should be an emotional game and Fleury will get the storybook ending.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Wild win 3-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Los Angeles Kings vs Tampa Bay Lightning<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Kings 1-0 Lightning<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong>\u00a07 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> Fan Duel Sports West; Fan Duel Sports Sun; ESPN+<\/p>\n

The second game of NHL predictions has the Los Angeles Kings<\/a> visiting the Tampa Bay Lightning.<\/a> Los Angeles is slated to go with David Rittich<\/a> in goal for this game. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Kings are 3-6-1 in the last 10 games, including three consecutive defeats. Adrian Kempe<\/a> has put together a great seasons with 24 goals and 20 assists for Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Andrei Vasilevskiy<\/a> is the projected starter for the Lightning, who are 4-5-1 in the last 10 games. Tampa Bay has also dropped the last two games entering this matchup. Brayden Point<\/a> is having another great season with 28 goals and 24 assists for the Lightning.<\/p>\n

Both teams are in need of a victory, but the Lightning score the home win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Lightning win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Washington Capitals vs\u00a0Ottawa Senators<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Capitals 1-0 Senators<\/h4>\n

Our last game of NHL predictions<\/a> is a battle of national capitals with the Washington Capitals<\/a> taking on the Ottawa Senators.<\/a> Washington is likely to go with Charlie Lindgren<\/a> in the blue paint for this one. The Caps are 8-1-1 in the last 10 games and are playing like one of the hottest teams in the league. Ethen Frank<\/a> has burst onto the scene with three goals and one assist over the last 10 games.<\/p>\n

Ottawa has confirmed it will go with Anton Forsberg<\/a> in net for the game. The Senators are 7-2-1 in the last 10 games and have three consecutive home wins heading into this game. Tim Stutzle<\/a> has powered Ottawa with 16 goals with 32 assists for the 2024-25 campaign.<\/p>\n

The Sens have been great at home, but the Capitals will get the road win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Capitals win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Prop Bets of the Night<\/h3>\n

We round out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go to our last game for some preferred props. Go with Alex Ovechkin<\/a> to score for Washington as he continue to chase Wayne Gretzky<\/a>. On the Ottawa end, take Shane Pinto<\/a> to get the over on 0.5 points.<\/p>\n
