Colorado Avalanche vs Boston Bruins<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Avalanche 0-1 Bruins<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> Sportsnet; NHL Network; NESN; Altitude<\/p>\n

We open with the featured game of NHL predictions between the Avalanche and the Bruins. Colorado made some massive changes as they swung a big trade<\/a> with the Chicago Blackhawks<\/a> and Carolina Hurricanes<\/a>. There could be some uncertainty with the rosters, so check lineups before setting things up. Mackenzie Blackwood<\/a> is the projected starter for the Avs, who are 4-4-2 in the last 10 games. Nathan MacKinnon<\/a> has supplied five goals and six assists over the past 10 games.<\/p>\n

Jeremy Swayman<\/a> is the expected starter for the Bruins, but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Boston is 4-4-2 in the last 10 games, but lost last time out. David Pastrnak<\/a> has been red-hot as of late with 10 goals and eight assists over the past 10 games.<\/p>\n

Colorado’s lineup is in flux and we don’t know if new acquisitions like Martin Necas<\/a> and Jack Drury<\/a> will be in the lineup.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Bruins win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

New Jersey Devils vs Montreal Canadiens<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Devils 1-0 Canadiens<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> NHL Network; CityTV; SN East; MSGSN2<\/p>\n

Our second game of NHL predictions has the New Jersey Devils<\/a> visiting the Montreal Canadiens<\/a>. Jake Allen<\/a> will get the start against his old team with Jacob Markstrom<\/a> out for the near future<\/a>. Jesper Bratt<\/a> scored twice in the first meeting and his 15 goals so far this season.<\/p>\n

Sam Montembeault<\/a> is the likely starter for the Habs, who are 7-2-1 in the last 10 games. However, Montreal is coming off a loss the last time out. Lane Hutson<\/a> continues to make his Calder Trophy case with three goals and 34 assists for the Canadiens.<\/p>\n

Losing Markstrom will hurt the Devils and the Canadiens have been one of the best teams in the NHL since the new year.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Canadiens win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Washington Capitals vs Vancouver Canucks<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Capitals 1-0 Canucks<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> CBC; Sportsnet; Monument Sports Network 2; ESPN+<\/p>\n

The last game of NHL predictions<\/a> has the Washington Capitals<\/a> visiting the Vancouver Canucks.<\/a> Washington is likely to go with Logan Thompson<\/a> in between the pipes for this game. Aliaksei Protas<\/a> has put together a great season with 20 goals and 20 assists for the Capitals.<\/p>\n

Thatcher Demko<\/a> is the expected starter for Vancouver, which is 2-6-2 in the last 10 games. This includes losses in the last two games as the heat continues to turn up. Team captain Quinn Hughes<\/a> continues to average a point a game with four goals and six assists over the past 10 games.<\/p>\n

It’s been a rough stretch for the Canucks, but it’s only going to get worse against a great Capitals team.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Capitals win 3-1.<\/p>\n

Prop Bets of the Night<\/h3>\n

We wrap up NHL predictions with some prop bets. Let’s go to our last game of the night for some props. Go with Dylan Strome<\/a> to have a multiple-point night in this one for Washington. On the Vancouver side, take Brock Boeser<\/a> to score at any point.<\/p>\n
