This week, let’s look at some 2024 Week 10 fantasy hockey depth scorers to acquire. These players are typically drafted later in fantasy drafts. Sometimes, not drafted at all. Depth scorers can be found in free agency in some leagues, but are likely picked up early once they get hot. They are good trade targets because they are supplemental pieces to your team and won’t cost an arm and a leg to acquire. Here are some of the best depth-scoring players to target in a trade in 2024 Week 10 fantasy hockey.

Week 10 Fantasy Hockey Targets

Nazem Kadri (C) – Calgary Flames

Nazam Kadri hasn’t had the start to the year that fantasy managers have hoped for, but he is starting to heat up. In his six seven games, Kadri has three goals and six points. In that span, he is averaging nearly four SOG per game. You can’t score if you don’t shoot, and Kadri is doing that.

In fact, Kadri currently sits with 95 SOG in 29 games, the 11th most in the NHL. He is shooting slightly below his career rate, so that may regress to the mean resulting in a couple more goals.

His IPP is at an elite level right now at 85%. He’s currently on pace for just over 50 points, which would be his lowest total in a full season since he played for the Toronto Maple Leafs. However, over the last month, he played at a pace closer to 60 points.

Calgary is splitting their power play units, but Kadri is still seeing good deployment. Averaging over two and a half minutes on the man advantage and over 18 minutes average TOI, Kadri makes for a good depth asset in most fantasy formats. With a potential increase in production on the horizon, now is a good opportunity to add Kadri while he is available, or a good time to buy low in a trade.

Jake DeBrusk (LW, RW) – Vancouver Canucks

Heading to Vancouver from Boston in free agency in the off-season, Jake DeBrusk had a bit of a rocky start for the Canucks. With just four points through October, it looked like DeBrusk was on pace for another disappointing fantasy season.

The switch flipped for DeBrusk in November, recording seven goals and 11 points in the month. He now sits with 13 goals and 22 points in 27 games. DeBrusk is red hot right now, with ten goals in his last ten games. He is currently on pace to score just shy of 40 goals if he stays healthy this season, and will likely set a new career high before the trade deadline. To add to his fantasy value, DeBrusk is providing good hits and shots peripherals.

With top power play deployment and exposure to 4 Nations Face-Off talents J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson, DeBrusk has a high ceiling for the rest of the year. All of these facts make him a 2024 Week 10 fantasy depth scorer to trade for.

Anders Lee (LW) – New York Islanders

Anders Lee is in the midst of a strong bounce-back season in Long Island. He is rostered in 55% of leagues on Fantrax and 44% on Yahoo. Acquiring Anders Lee comes at a low price and risk, with a high upside. Heading into the season, Lee’s ADP was over 433. Today, he can be found in the top 50 players in many fantasy formats.
