Each day,\u00a0Last Word on Hockey<\/em> takes a look at the games that are happening and gives our predictions for each one, breaking down head-to-head matchups and other factors that may play in. We also have a featured game of the day, which is considered must-watch TV. Today\u2019s featured game is the Buffalo Sabres<\/a> vs Los Angeles Kings<\/a>. NHL Predictions<\/h2>\n

Nashville Predators vs Seattle Kraken<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Predators 0-1 Krkane<\/h4>\n

Time: <\/strong>10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> TruTV; TNT<\/p>\n

Our first game of NHL predictions has the Seattle Kraken<\/a> hosting the Nashville Predators<\/a>. Juuse Saros<\/a> is the expected starter for Nashville, but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Predators are 3-5-2 in the last 10, but coming off a 5-3 victory over the Vancouver Canucks<\/a>. Filip Forsberg<\/a> is first on the team in goals (8) and points (15). Captain Roman Josi<\/a> is tops in assists with 12.<\/p>\n

Joey Daccord<\/a> is the projected starter for Seattle, which down Nashville, 7-3, in the first meeting of the season. The Kraken have been the definition of mid this seasons with a 9-9-1 record and going 5-5 in the last 10. Jared McCann<\/a> has been consistently good this season for Seattle as he leads in goals (9), assists (12) and points (21).<\/p>\n

Nashville has been playing better, but Seattle has a little more consistency.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Kraken win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Buffalo Sabres vs Los Angeles Kings<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Sabres 0-1 Kings<\/h4>\n

Time:<\/strong> 10:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)<\/p>\n

TV:<\/strong> MSG Buffalo; Fan Duel Sports West; Sportsnet (CA); ESPN+<\/p>\n

Our final and featured game of NHL predictions has the Sabres out on the West Coast against the Kings. Buffalo is slated to go with Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen<\/a><\/span> in the blue paint for this game. The Sabres are 5-5 in the last 10 and have not been able to get into a groove this season. Tage Thompson<\/a> is the team’s leader in goals (11) and points (18), but Alex Tuch<\/a> is tops in assists with 12.<\/p>\n

David Rittich<\/a> is the expected starter for the Kings, who are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games. Los Angeles has leveled off after getting off to a surprisingly fast start. Adrian Kempe<\/a> and Alex Laferriere<\/a> are tied for the first in goals with nine. However, captain Anze Kopitar<\/a> is leading the way in points with 21 so far this season.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both teams are trying to get some momentum. However, the Kings get the home victory.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Kings win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Prop Bets of the Night<\/h3>\n

We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. In the opening game. go with Josi to get some sort of points. He’s a -166 for one point and +300 to get a multiple-point night on FanDuel<\/a>. On the Seattle side, take Oliver Bjorkstrand<\/a><\/span> at +270 to get a goal on FanDuel.<\/p>\n

In the night cap, go with the Kings covering the +1.5 goal spread at +165. These odds can be found at Bet365<\/a>.<\/p>\n
