Here are the best <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2024\/08\/09\/best-dallas-stars-by-sweater-number-21-to-30\/\" target=\"_self\">Dallas Stars<\/a> by sweater numbers 76 through 90.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Best Stars Sweater Numbers: 76-90<\/h2>\n<h3>#76 &#8211; Never Been Worn<\/h3>\n<h3>#77 &#8211; Pierre Turgeon (Forward)<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/t\/turgepi01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Turgeon<\/a> was another Hall-of-Famer with a brief stint in Dallas, spending three seasons with the Stars near the end of his career. He had 129 points in 207 games with Dallas before heading to <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/avalanche\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Colorado<\/a> for his final two seasons. Turgeon spent 19 years in the NHL with six franchises and finished among the top 50 in goals, assists, and points in NHL history. He retired in 2007 and was somehow traded three times during his career.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Forward <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/barnama01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Matthew Barnaby<\/a> also wore number 77 for Dallas and was no slouch. However, he only appeared in 39 games for the Stars. Barnaby played 14 seasons in the NHL, mostly with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/sabres\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Buffalo Sabres<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>#78 &#8211; Never Been Worn<\/h3>\n<h3>#79 &#8211; Never Been Worn<\/h3>\n<h3>#80 &#8211; Never Been Worn<\/h3>\n<h3>#81 &#8211; Tomas Vincour (Forward)<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/v\/vincoto01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vincour<\/a> is the only Dallas Star to have <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/teams\/DAL\/numbers.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">worn<\/a> number 81. He was a fifth-round pick in 2009 and spent his first three NHL seasons in Dallas before being traded to Colorado in 2013. He played in 95 NHL games and had 17 points. Eventually, he returned to Europe and continued his career in the KHL in Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>#82 &#8211; Never Been Worn<\/h3>\n<h3>#83 &#8211; Ales Hemsky (Forward)<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/hemskal01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hemsky<\/a> came to Dallas as a veteran unrestricted free agent in 2014 and spent three seasons with the club. Before arriving in the Lone Star State, he was a crucial component of the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/oilers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Edmonton Oilers<\/a>, contributing 477 points across 11 seasons.\u00a0 A torn hip labrum cost him some time in Dallas, and his <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/1798203\/2020\/05\/14\/ales-hemsky-on-his-health-alumni-games-tough-opponents-and-the-oilers-stars\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">career ended<\/a> with a concussion seven games into the 2017 season with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/canadiens\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Montreal Canadiens<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>He played in over 800 NHL games and had 572 points (174 goals and 398 assists).<\/p>\n<h3>#84 &#8211; Never Been Worn<\/h3>\n<h3>#85 &#8211; Never Been Worn<\/h3>\n<h3>#86 &#8211; Never Been Worn<\/h3>\n<h3>#87 &#8211; Never Been Worn<\/h3>\n<h3>#88 &#8211; Eric Lindros (Forward)<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is also only one player who has ever worn sweater number 88 for the Stars. <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2022\/06\/22\/nhl-draft-stories-the-eric-lindros-power-play\/\" target=\"_self\">Lindros<\/a> played the final 49 games of his career in Dallas during the 2006-07 season, putting up just 26 points with five goals. The Hall-of-Famer is best known for his days with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/flyers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Philadelphia Flyers<\/a>, where he played 486 games, had 569 points, and scored nearly 300 goals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lindros also<a  href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/l\/lindrer01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> appeared<\/a> in six All-Star Games and had four seasons among the NHL&#8217;s top 10 goal-scorers. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.hhof.com\/induction_archives\/ind16Lindros.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2016<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>#89 &#8211; Never Been Worn<\/h3>\n<h3>#90 &#8211; Jason Spezza (Forward)<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spezza&#8217;s long and illustrious career took him to Dallas from 2015 to 2019 after 11 seasons with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/senators\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Ottawa Senators<\/a>. Arguably, only Daniel Alfredsson had a bigger impact on the Ottawa franchise, but <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/spezzja01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Spezza<\/a> also made his mark in Dallas. His best season came in 2015-16 when he scored 33 goals, and he rarely touched double-digits in the subsequent years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spezza returned to Canada when he signed with <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2022\/05\/29\/toronto-maple-leafs-jason-spezza-retires\/\" target=\"_self\">Toronto<\/a> in 2019 and retired after a three-year stay with the Maple Leafs as they returned to contention in the Eastern Conference.
