The Boston\u00a0Bruins<\/a> appear to have another injured defenceman. Last night, when they took on the Tampa Bay Lightning<\/a> in the Eastern Conference showdown, the Bruins lost John Moore<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to an upper-body injury. Moore got drilled hard by Lightning forward Adam Erne<\/a><\/strong> and left the game favoring his left arm. Moore went down the tunnel immediately and never returned to the contest.<\/p>\n

Boston Bruins Lose John Moore Due To Injury<\/h2>\n

The contact between Erne and John Moore happened in the first period. Erne appeared to have cross-checked Moore as he went down to the end-boards pretty awkwardly. Moore clearly injured his left hand and had to leave the game immediately following his incident.<\/p>\n

The Bruins later announced that John Moore is out because of an upper-body injury. Head Coach Bruce Cassidy<\/a> could not provide any kind of an update on Moore\u00b4s injury in the post-game aftermath. The 28-year-old defenceman finished the game with just 4:40 of ice time.<\/p>\n

The American blueliner signed a five-year deal worth\u00a0$2.75 million per season last summer. During the present\u00a0campaign, Moore has recorded four goals and nine assists for 13 points in 61 games with the Bruins.<\/p>\n

Boston Bruins Have Lost Another Defenceman<\/h3>\n

The Bruins had Torey Krug<\/a><\/strong>, Matt Grzelcyk<\/a><\/strong> and Kevan Miller<\/a><\/strong> on the injury list heading into the game against the Lightning on Monday night. Moore has become the fourth injured skater on the Bruins defensive line.<\/p>\n

Torey Krug, who has missed the past six games because of a concussion, should be back in the lineup on Wednesday night when the Bruins return back home to face the New York Rangers<\/a> at TD Garden.<\/p>\n

Kevan Miller and Matt Grzelcyk are making their progress and they should come back to the Boston’s lineup somewhere around the weekend. The Bruins face the Florida Panthers<\/a> on Saturday and Detroit Red Wings<\/a> on Sunday. Head Coach Bruce Cassidy expects them to play in at least four of the final six games of the regular season.<\/p>\n
