Bishop left the game Thursday against the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/wild\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Minnesota Wild<\/a> with a lower-body injury. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/khudoan01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Anton Khudobin<\/strong><\/a> took over in net in the Stars 4-1 victory over the Wild. Bishop missed Friday night&#8217;s game against the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/nhl-teams\/knights\/\" target=\"_self\">Vegas Golden Knights<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Ben Bishop has a lower body injury and he is questionable to return. His shutout streak of 230:53 is now the longest in franchise history. He passed <strong>Ed Belfour<\/strong>&#8216;s record of 219:26 set in 2000. The Stars have not yet announced what play caused the injury.<\/p>\n<p>So far this season, Bishop is 24-14-2. He has a .933 save percentage and a 2.05 goals-against-average.<\/p>\n<p>Over his 10-year NHL career, Bishop has played for the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/blues\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">St. Louis Blues<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/senators\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ottawa Senators<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/lightning\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tampa Bay Lightning<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/kings\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Los Angeles Kings<\/a> and the Stars. He is 197-111-32 in his career with a .920 save percentage and a 2.32 goals-against-average. Originally, he was drafted by the Blues in the third round, 85th overall in the 2005\u00a0NHL Draft.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop makes a huge difference in the playoffs. In his career, he has played in 36 playoff games for the Tampa Bay Lightning. He is 21-13-0. He has a .927 save percentage and a 2.09 goals-against-average in the playoffs. Bishop took the Lightning to the Stanley Cup Final in 2014-15 and the Conference Final in 2015-16.<\/p>\n<h2>What This Means For the Future<\/h2>\n<p>The Stars currently sit in third place in the Central Division. The Stars and the Blues are tied in points,\u00a0but the Stars have one more regulation or overtime win.
