NHL Predictions<\/h2>\n

Detroit Red Wings vs Ottawa Senators<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Red Wings 1-0 Senators<\/h4>\n

TV:<\/strong> NHL Network; Bally Sports Detroit; TSN5<\/p>\n

Our featured game is the first of the Global Series games between the Detroit Red Wings<\/a> and Ottawa Senators<\/a>. James Reimer<\/a> will get the call in between the pipes for Detroit, who stopped a two-game losing streak the last time out. Alex DeBrincat<\/a> has cooled off from his hot start, but still has 10 goals. Team captain Dylan Larkin<\/a> has 12 assists to lead in that category. <\/span><\/p>\n

Joonas Korpisalo<\/a> is the likely starter in net for the Senators. However, always check social media<\/a> before locking in a fantasy starter. Fantasy players should also be aware of the 2 p.m. Eastern Time start, so they can set their lineups. Ottawa does have wins in two of its last three games. Brady Tkachuk<\/a><\/span> leads the team in goals with eight while Tim Stutzle<\/a> is tops in assists with 14.<\/p>\n

Ottawa has been playing better and will pick up the first in the Global Series.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Senators win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Vegas Golden Knights vs Montreal Canadiens<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Golden Knights 1-0 Canadiens<\/h4>\n

TV:<\/strong> Scripps; TSN2; RDS; ESPN+<\/p>\n

We have a rematch of the 2021 NHL Stanley Cup semifinal series between the Vegas Golden Knights<\/a> and the Montreal Canadiens<\/a>. Vegas is coming off a loss to the Washington Capitals in the last outing. Adin Hill<\/a> is the projected starter in goal for the Golden Knights. William Karlsson<\/a><\/span> has eight goals and 10 assists for 18 points this season.<\/p>\n

Montreal has lost two straight games, but has been a solid team in most games this campaign. Sean Monahan<\/a><\/span> leads in goals with six, but Cole Caufield<\/a> has five goals and nine assists. Caufield has been a menace in the overtime session in his young career with seven extra-session winners.<\/p>\n

Vegas is likely to bounce back in this one, but it’ll earn it.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Golden Knights win 4-3 in a shootout.<\/em><\/p>\n

Vancouver Canucks vs Calgary Flames<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Canucks 0-0 Flames<\/h3>\n

TV:<\/strong> Sportsnet Pacific; Sportsnet West; ESPN+<\/p>\n

Out last game of NHL predictions has the Vancouver Canucks<\/a> taking on the Calgary Flames.<\/a> Casey DeSmith<\/a><\/span> will get the call after Thatcher Demko<\/a> started the night before. Vancouver has wins in four of its last five, including an overtime win against the New Yorl Islanders. Brock Boeser<\/a> has 13 goals and overtime-hero Quinn Hughes<\/a> already has 20 assists on the season.<\/span><\/p>\n

Calgary will turn to Jacob Markstrom<\/a> in order to keep the winning ways going. The Flames have wins in three of their last five games, but will need to keep momentum going. Calgary’s fourth-rated penalty kill will have its work cut out in trying to stop the second-rated power play of Vancouver. Andrew Mangiapane<\/a> has four goals for the Flames.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vancouver has been on a roll and that continues against their rivals. Playing in back-to-back games against a rested Calgary is concerning, but we like the Canucks.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Canucks win 5-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Prop Bet of the Night<\/h3>\n

Let’s go to the game with the Pittsburgh Penguins<\/a> and New Jersey Devils<\/a> for this one. Sidney Crosby<\/a> is coming off a hat trick and we like him to continue that trend. We like the over on the 0.5 points for the Penguins’ captain in this one. Crosby may be getting up in years, but his play has been timeless.<\/p>\n
