Boston Bruins vs Montreal Canadiens<\/h3>\n

Head-t0-Head: Bruins 0-0 Canadiens<\/h4>\n

Our featured game of NHL predictions has the Boston Bruins<\/a> taking on the Montreal Canadiens.<\/a> It’s the renewal of the old rivalry between the old clubs. Jeremy Swayman<\/a> will likely get the start, but always check social media<\/a> before locking in a fantasy starter in goal. David Pastrnak<\/a> already has 10 goals and 10 assists to lead the Bruins in both categories. Boston’s defence continues to thrive with second-year head coach Jim Montgomery<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Canadiens may be young, but they won’t be intimidated. Cole Caufield<\/a> got another overtime-winner in the last outing for Montreal. Jake Allen<\/a> is likely to get the call in between the pipes for the Habs. Montreal may not wow you in many statistical categories, but this team doesn’t quit under head coach Martin St. Louis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Boston should get the win, but Montreal is a feisty squad.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Bruins win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Vancouver Canucks vs Toronto Maple Leafs<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Canucks 0-0 Maple Leafs<\/h4>\n

TV:<\/strong> CBC; ESPN+<\/p>\n

It’s an all-Canadian battle as the Vancouver Canucks<\/a> taking on the Toronto Maple Leafs.<\/a> The Canucks have been one of the surprise outfits under the season with Rick Tocchet<\/a> at the helm. Brock Boeser<\/a> leads the way for Vancouver in goals with 11. Thatcher Demko<\/a> is currently the penciled in starter, but always wait for the practice report to see who is first off the ice. The Canucks have won five straight and lot of the that is thanks to their fourth-ranked power play.<\/p>\n

Toronto comes in after a 5-4 shootout win over the Calgary Flames.<\/a> Ilya Samsonov<\/a> will get the start with the Maple Leafs playing back-to-back games. Auston Matthews<\/a> leads Toronto with 13 goals, but William Nylander<\/a> netted a pair of goals last night. Toronto’s power play is fifth-best in the league, but the defence and penalty kill need work.<\/p>\n

Vancouver’s defence will carry it through on this Hall of Fame weekend.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Canucks win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

St Louis Blues vs Colorado Avalanche<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Blues 0-1 Avalanche<\/h4>\n

TV:<\/strong> Bally Sports Midwest; Altitude; ESPN+<\/p>\n

Our last game of NHL predictions has the St Louis Blues<\/a> taking on the Colorado Avalanche<\/a>. Jordan Binnington<\/a> is the likely starter in goal for the Blues, who have wins in three of their last five games. St Louis is sixth in goals against and that’s what’s keeping the team in games. Robert Thomas<\/a> is also doing well with six goals and five assists for the Blues. The team is dead-last on the power play and 26th on the penalty kill.<\/p>\n

Colorado got a 4-1 win over St Louis earlier in the season. Alexandar Georgiev<\/a> will likely draw the start in goal for the Avalanche, who have lost three of their last five games. Cale Makar<\/a> leads the club in assists with 12 while Mikko Rantanen<\/a> has eight goals. Colorado does have the third-best penalty kill in the league.<\/p>\n

The Avs been pretty solid against the Blues as of late and continue the trend.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Avalanche win 5-2.<\/p>\n

Let’s keep with the Leafs and Canucks game. We’ll go over on William Nylander getting the over on the 0.5 points tonight. Artemi Panarin<\/a> and Nylander have been fantastic to start the season.<\/p>\n
