NHL Predictions<\/h2>\n

New York Islanders vs Boston Bruins<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Islanders 0-0 Bruins<\/h4>\n

Our featured game of NHL predictions has the New York Islanders<\/a> taking on the Boston Bruins.<\/a> The Isles have lost two straight and three of their last five games. Ilya Sorokin<\/a><\/span> is the projected starter, but always check on social media<\/a> before locking in a fantasy starter. New York is 27th in goals for, but can play defence with the best of them. Sorokin is very capable of stealing a game for the Isles.<\/p>\n

Linus Ullmark<\/a> is the likely starter for the Bruins, who are switching between him and Jeremy Swayman<\/a> in goal. Boston has won four of its last five and has continued to play well despite some big retirements in the off-season. The Bruins are first in goals against in the entire league. David Pastrnak<\/a> continues to lead the way in goals (9) and assists (8) the Bruins.<\/p>\n

The under may be a tantalizing play, but the Bruins will get the job done at home.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Bruins win 3-1.<\/em><\/p>\n

Dallas Stars vs Columbus Blue Jackets<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Stars 1-0 Blue Jackets<\/h4>\n

Our second game of NHL predictions has the Dallas Stars<\/a> looking to sweep the season-series against the Columbus Blue Jackets<\/a>. Jake Oettinger<\/a> will be tasked with trying to stop a two-game slide for the Stars. Dallas has struggled to score goals, but it’s very good at stopping them. Jason Robertson<\/a> is starting to come into his own with nine points.<\/p>\n

Spencer Martin<\/a> will get the call for the Blue Jackets, who have lost four of their last five games. Team captain Boone Jenner<\/a> leads the way with six goals while Ivan Provorov<\/a> has nine assists for his new squad.<\/p>\n

This could be another low-scoring game, but Dallas comes away with the win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Stars win 4-1.<\/p>\n

Edmonton Oilers vs San Jose Sharks<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Oilers 0-0 Sharks<\/h4>\n

Our final game of NHL predictions has the Edmonton Oilers<\/a> taking on the San Jose Sharks.<\/a> Many thought this would be the game where the Sharks could get their first win. However, the Sharks beat the Philadelphia Flyers<\/a> the other night. Edmonton has been just as bad as San Jose to start the campaign. Stuart Skinner<\/a> will likely draw the start, but won’t have to worry about Jack Campbell<\/a> for the near future.<\/p>\n

San Jose is still dead-last in goals for and goals against. Mackenzie Blackwood<\/a><\/span> will get the start for the Sharks, who are looking for a win streak.<\/span><\/p>\n

Edmonton knows their season is on the line and will come out firing.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Oilers win 5-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Prop Bet of the Night<\/h4>\n

We’ll keep with the Oilers and Sharks game for our prop bet of the evening. Normally, we don’t seek multiple-point nights for our prop. However, we’ll roll with Connor McDavid<\/a> getting over on 1.5 points in tonight’s game.<\/p>\n
