This round of NHL Predictions will help condense the slate into three best bets and one prop bet of the night.<\/em><\/p>\n

NHL Predictions<\/h2>\n

Detroit Red Wings vs Boston Bruins<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Red Wings 0-0 Bruins<\/h4>\n

Our first game of NHL predictions is an Atlantic Division battle. The Detroit Red Wings<\/a> are coming off two straight losses. The last outing was a 4-1 setback to the Winnipeg Jets.<\/a> Ville Husso<\/a> will get the call in goal once again for Detroit. Alex DeBrincat<\/a> has been huge since the off-season deal to acquire him. The forward already has nine goals in this campaign.<\/p>\n

Jeremy Swayman<\/a> is the projected starter for the Boston Bruins<\/a>, but always check social media<\/a> before locking in your fantasy goalie. The Bruins are coming off a surprising loss to the Anaheim Ducks<\/a>, but have yet to lose in regulation. David Pastrnak<\/a> has six goals this campaign for the Bruins. Charlie McAvoy<\/a> has six helpers this season.<\/p>\n

Both teams have been two of the better clubs in the Atlantic and both are looking to bounce back. However, Boston will scratch out the win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Bruins win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Winnipeg Jets vs Montreal Canadiens<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Jets 0-0 Canadiens<\/h4>\n

TV:<\/strong> CityTV; TVA; Sportsnet<\/p>\n

Our featured game of NHL predictions is a battle of two Canadian squads. The Jets have won three straight games and have been stingy on defnce. Projected starter Connor Hellebuyck<\/a> and the club have given up two goals or less during this streak. Kyle Connor<\/a> has five goals already and Josh Morrissey<\/a> has dished out six assists.<\/p>\n

The Montreal Canadiens<\/a> will likely counter with Jake Allen<\/a> in between the pipes. Montreal is off to a 4-2-1 start and looking good at times. Cole Caufield<\/a> leads in goals (4) and assists (5) for the Habs. Montreal has won three of its last four games with an exciting young squad.<\/p>\n

Both teams are off to a decent start, but the Jets defence gets them the win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Jets win 3-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

New York Rangers vs Vancouver Canucks<\/h3>\n

Head-to-Head: Rangers 0-0 Canucks<\/h4>\n

Our last game of NHL predictions has the Metropolitan Division-leading New York Rangers<\/a> taking on the Vancouver Canucks.<\/a> Life has been good on the Western Canada road trip with two straight wins for the Blueshirts. Igor Shesterkin<\/a> is the likely starter for the Rangers. Artemi Panarin<\/a>, Filip Chytil<\/a> and Alexis Lafreniere<\/a> have been a solid line combo for New York in the early part of the season.<\/p>\n

Casey DeSmith<\/a> is the confirmed goalie for the Canucks, who are coming off a 5-0 shutout of the St Louis Blues<\/a>. Brock Boeser<\/a> has six goals already while Elias Pettersson<\/a> has 12 points for Vancouver.<\/p>\n

This should be a fun one, but the Blueshirts get the shootout win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Rangers win 3-2 in a shootout.<\/em><\/p>\n

Prop Bet of the Night<\/h3>\n

We’re hoping the third time is the charm on this one. We’ll go to the Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a> versus Nashville Predators<\/a> matchup for this one. John Tavares<\/a> has 11 points in his last seven games and we’ll ride that train. Take JT91 getting at least a point if you feel like a prop.<\/p>\n
