The Carolina Hurricanes<\/a>\u00a0have indicated that forward\u00a0Micheal Ferland<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is day-to-day with an upper-body-injury. Ferland left the game against the Boston Bruins<\/a>\u00a0on Tuesday with an upper-body injury.<\/p>\n

Micheal Ferland Injured<\/h1>\n

Micheal Ferland laid a shoulder-to-shoulder hit on Bruins’ Marcus Johansson<\/a><\/strong>. Johansson was helped off the ice, but Ferland continued to play.<\/p>\n

Later in the period, Ferland got into a fight with Bruins forward David Backes<\/a><\/strong>. Ferland went to the locker room\u00a0but came back to the bench after his major penalty. A few minutes later, it was announced that he would not return to the game.<\/p>\n
