We take a look at possible deals as we move toward the Feb. 25 NHL trade deadline. Today we examine rumours surrounding the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/flames\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Calgary Flames<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/red-wings\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Detroit Red Wings<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/canadiens\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Montreal Canadiens<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We take all NHL trade rumours from the original source and are subject to change.<\/p>\n<h1>NHL Trade Rumours<\/h1>\n<h2>Calgary Flames: Part One<\/h2>\n<p><em>Rumour: Sportsnet\u2019s <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/kypreni01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nick Kypreos<\/a><\/strong> said during <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsnet.ca\/hockey\/nhl\/headlines-senators-trying-get-deal-done-stone\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the Headlines segment on Hockey Night in Canada<\/a> that <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/n\/nealja01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">James Neal<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s injury could force the Flames to change their plans at the deadline. Neal is still dealing with injuries, including getting a stick in the face.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/FriedgeHNIC\/status\/1096961419940028423<\/p>\n<p>Analysis: Neal has struggled this season with only five goals and 10 assists in 55 games. The Flames have pulled out of their recent four-game losing streak\u00a0but would love to see \u201cThe Real Deal\u201d start to reclaim his scoring touch. He\u2019s scored at least 20 goals in every one of his 11 NHL seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Calgary would have loved a veteran defenceman at the deadline\u00a0but could make a run at <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/stonema01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mark Stone<\/a><\/strong> or <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/z\/zuccama01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mats Zuccarello<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Calgary Flames: Part Two<\/h2>\n<p><em>Rumour: TSN\u2019s Frank Seravelli, Bob McKenzie and Darren Dreger said the Flames <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/examining-the-goaltending-market-as-calgary-considers-upgrade-1.1257747\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">have looked into the goaltending market<\/a>, including Detroit Red Wings goalie <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/howarja02.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jimmy Howard<\/a>.<\/strong> McKenzie speculated that Calgary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/insider-trading-sens-jets-possible-trade-partners-1.1257965\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">may take a run<\/a> at Los Angeles Kings netminder <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/q\/quickjo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jonathan Quick<\/strong><\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Analysis: Teams like the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/blue-jackets\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Columbus Blue Jackets<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/avalanche\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Colorado Avalanche<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/hurricanes\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carolina Hurricanes<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/panthers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Florida Panthers<\/a> are also trying to shore up their goalie situations. Howard may be a rental while Quick could be a long-term solution.<\/p>\n<p>The Kings are hesitant to give up on their long-term goalie\u00a0but may part with him if the price is right.<\/p>\n<h2>Detroit Red Wings<\/h2>\n<p><em>Rumour: Speaking of the Red Wings, forward <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/n\/nyquigu01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gustav Nyquist<\/a> <\/strong>was told to submit a list of teams that he would waive his no-trade clause for according to Sportsnet\u2019s Chris Johnston. The Swedish winger is an unrestricted free agent and one of the top scorers for Detroit.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Analysis: Nyquist would be a solid secondary scorer for a team making a playoff push. He\u2019s having a career-year and could get a nice return for Red Wings general manager <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/hollake01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ken Holland<\/a><\/strong>. Detroit is still looking to pile up picks and prospects and Nyquist would yield a nice haul.<\/p>\n<h2>Montreal Canadiens<\/h2>\n<p><em>Rumour: Louis Jean of TVA said the Habs are \u201c50-50\u201d on trading forward <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/hudonch01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Charles Hudon<\/a>.<\/strong> The report added that Montreal would love a depth player in return and said the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/flyers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Philadelphia Flyers<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/canucks\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vancouver Canucks<\/a> and Kings are suitors.<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Told there\u2019s a 50-50 chance Charles Hudon is dealt before trade deadline. If the @CanadiensMTLwere to trade him, they\u2019d prefer a depth player coming back rather than a draft pick. Hudon wants to play. Montreal general manager <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/bergema01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marc Bergevin<\/a><\/strong> has been stockpiling depth players like <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/t\/thompna01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nate Thompson<\/a> <\/strong>for the post-season push.<\/p>\n<p>Going after another fourth-line forward or depth defenceman is a typical move for Bergevin.
