His possession numbers were 50.9 percent Corsi\u00a0and a relative Corsi of 4.7%.<\/p>\n<p>This is Pettersson&#8217;s rookie season and was the frontrunner to win the Calder Memorial Trophy. Only having played 38 games so far in his career, he is over a point per game this season. He was taken in the first round, 5th overall in the 2017\u00a0NHL draft.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsnet.ca\/hockey\/nhl\/canucks-elias-pettersson-slight-sprain-mcl\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8220;I\u2019m hopeful he can play very soon,&#8221; head coach Travis Green said earlier in the day. &#8220;The sooner the better. He looks good. The Canucks roster has heavily relied upon Pettersson and their other young stars such as\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/boesebr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brock Boeser<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/horvabo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bo Horvat<\/a><\/strong>. He is the teams leading scorer and the team will feel the loss, even if it is only for a couple of weeks.
