Boston Bruins<\/a> Kevan Miller<\/a> <\/strong>suffered a throat injury that will\u00a0sideline him for at least five weeks. Miller took a puck to the neck in Monday’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a>. A moment that froze fans and players alike as throat injuries can be catastrophic. In Miller’s case the injury will him healing for the next five weeks.<\/p>\n

Bruins Kevan Miller Injured<\/h1>\n

Kevan Miller spent the night in a Toronto hospital Monday after he blocked a shot with his stick and the puck redirected into his throat. Initial X-rays were negative. Miller remained in the hospital for observation to make sure the injury didn’t swell and affect his breathing. Upon his return to Boston, a CT scan revealed a cartilage injury to his larynx.<\/p>\n
