He has scored 17 goals along with 48 assists for 65 career points in 389 career NHL games. His best season was during the 2011-12 season where he scored four goals and 13 assists for 17 points in 82 games for the Devils. He has three career assists in 24 career\u00a0Stanley Cup Playoff games. Fayne was originally drafted in the fifth round,155th overall in the 2005 NHL Draft by the Devils.<\/p>\n<p>Fayne last played in the NHL during the 2016-17 season with the Oilers. During that season he spent the majority of the year in the AHL with the Bakersfield Condors. In 39 games with the Condors, he scored three goals and 14 assists for 17 points. He also added 16 minutes in penalties. He ended up appearing in four games for the Oilers and recorded two assists in that span.<\/p>\n<h1>What This Means for the Fayne&#8217;s Future<\/h1>\n<p>The 31-year-old right-handed defencemen will get another crack to play in the NHL. Fayne will bring experience and another right-handed shot to the Bruins defensive core.
