According to the Devils<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/2016\/11\/16\/one-man-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> team website<\/a>: &#8220;This afternoon, Taylor Hall underwent arthroscopic surgery for a torn meniscus in his left knee. The procedure was performed at Summit Medical Group Surgery Center by team physician Dr. Michael Shindle and Dr. Jonathan Glashow, the Devil&#8217;s Chief Medical Officer. His expected recovery time is approximately 3-4 weeks. During his time in Edmonton, Hall had 132 goals and 328 total points for the <strong>Edmonton Oilers<\/strong>. Since joining New Jersey he has played in 14 games in which he has give goals and 12 total points which has him tied for the team-lead with <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/severda01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Damon Severson<\/a><\/strong>. Many consider the addition of Hall to be a major contributing factor to their hot start to the season.<\/p>\n<p>Hall was drafted first overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. During his just over six-year NHL career he has scored 137 goals and 340 total points, one of the best resumes in the league during that time.
