Tristan Jarry<\/strong><\/a> has re-signed with the Pittsburgh Penguins<\/a> on a two-year deal worth $1.35 million or $675,000 per season AAV. He spent the first year of his NHL career as Matt Murray<\/a><\/strong>‘s backup in Pittsburgh. Sometimes though, it\u00a0rotated as he would get sent down to Wilkes-Barre to play in the AHL while Casey DeSmith<\/a><\/strong> would be the Penguins backup goaltender.<\/p>\n

The Penguins have agreed to terms with goaltender Tristan Jarry (@tjarry35<\/a>) on a two-year contract.<\/p>\n

Jarry\u2019s contract is a two-way deal in 2018.19 and a one-way deal in 2019.20. The average annual value at the NHL level is $675,000.<\/p>\n

Pittsburgh Penguins Re-Sign Goaltender Tristan Jarry<\/h1>\n

Jarry has appeared in 27 games\u00a0for the Penguins, 26 of them coming from this past season. He started 23 games this season and went 14-6-2 overall with a 2.77 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage. Most of his starts came on back-to-backs as the Penguins led the league with the most back-to-backs during the season with the Ottawa Senators<\/a> with 19.<\/p>\n
