He also added 82 minutes\u00a0in penalties. His possession\u00a0numbers were 51.5 percent Corsi with a relative Corsi of +5.<\/p>\n<p>Over his 9-year NHL career, Kane has played for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/sabres\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Buffalo Sabres<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/sharks\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">San Jose Sharks<\/a>, Atlanta Thrashers and<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/jets\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Winnipeg Jets<\/a>. He has put up 186 goals and 168 assists for 354 career points in 574 career\u00a0games. He was originally\u00a0drafted in the first round, fourth overall by the Atlanta Thrashers.<\/p>\n<h1>What Does This Mean for the Future<\/h1>\n<p>Kane enters the off-season as an unrestricted free agent and his health will currently be a factor for teams interested in him. Since joining the Sharks at the deadline Kane had nine goals and five assists for 14 points in 17 games. Kane is one of five players on the Sharks that will be an unrestricted free agent this summer. The other four are <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/t\/thornjo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joe Thornton<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/w\/wardjo02.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joel Ward<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/hanseja01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jannik Hansen<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/f\/fehrer01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eric Fehr<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Joel Ward and Joe Thornton didn&#8217;t play in a Stanley Cup Playoff game this year.
