This second incident has gotten the league&#8217;s attention as Executive Vice President and Director of Hockey Operations <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/c\/campbco01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Colin Campbell<\/a><\/strong> has put Marchand on notice.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">NHL\u2019s Colin Campbell spoke with Boston\u2019s Brad Marchand and GM Don Sweeney today. However, he added licking to his repertoire in the Game 1 of Boston&#8217;s first-round series with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/maple-leafs\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a>. Marchand appeared to lick <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/komarle01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Leo Komarov<\/a><\/strong> in the Bruins&#8217;s 5-1 victory. It wasn&#8217;t the first encounter between the pair as Marchand kissed Komarov on Nov. 11, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The league denied speaking with Marchand about the first incident, but Marchand got another lick in during Friday&#8217;s 4-3 overtime loss to the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/lightning\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tampa Bay Lightning<\/a>. USA Today&#8217;s <em>For the Win<\/em> blog documented the Boston forward&#8217;s long, strange history of getting mouthy.<\/p>\n<p>Marchand has congratulated then teammates <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/i\/iginlja01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jarome Iginla<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/t\/talboma01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Maxime Talbot<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0with celebratory kisses. These both came after Marchand tallied game-winning goals.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/stars\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dallas Stars<\/a> forward <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/e\/eavespa01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Patrick Eaves<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0pushed away Marchand when he tried kissing him during a game Feb 20, 2016. Marchand then planted a kiss on Komarov over a year later. The kisses were another addition to the ways Marchand irritated other players.<\/p>\n<h2>What This Means For Marchand And The Bruins<\/h2>\n<p>All eyes will be on Marchand as Boston tries to rally.\u00a0He will have an even bigger target on his back and might get a receipt if any of the three games turn into a blowout.
