This week Connor and Johannes discuss the Habs and Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a> and what that means right now. They look back at the week that was and wonder\u00a0why the Habs seem to be giving more effort now in meaningless games rather than when the team still had playoff hopes.<\/p>\n

Johannes has a hot take on the Andrew Shaw<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>\/ Greg Pateryn<\/a><\/strong> incident while Connor wonders why almost every clean hit needs to be responded to with fists. Next Johannes asks Connor to pick from a list of free agent centres not named John Tavares<\/a><\/strong>. Both hosts agree that\u00a0Marc Bergevin<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>needs a strong off-season and what that means. Connor and Johannes then go back and forth on if Montreal is a destination for free agents or not.<\/p>\n

Our hosts then discuss Geoff Molson’s comments about Bergevin and the state of the Montreal Canadiens. Seeing how results don’t seem to be the criteria the Habs owner uses to determine the effectiveness\u00a0of the general manager, Johannes wonders what Bergevin has to do to get fired.<\/p>\n

With the Habs season lost and the Easter break coming up, Connor and Johannes will only be back after the season for a Habs wrap up and a serious look forward to the draft and free agency.<\/p>\n

All this and an update on baby Daniel, more charity hockey and searching for silver linings in this season.<\/p>\n
