New Nashville Predators<\/strong>\u00a0defenceman P.K. Subban<\/a><\/strong> has always had a flair for the dramatic. He showed that off again on Friday night, scoring his first goal as member of the Predators, in the clubs opening game, and on his first shot.\u00a0Subban blasted home a slap shot at 7:46 of the first period, tying the game at 1-1. \u00a0The Predators would go on to defeat the Chicago Blackhawks<\/strong> by a score of 3-2.<\/p>\n

Roman Josi<\/a><\/strong> and Mike Fisher<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>also scored for the Predators, while Ryan Johansen<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0had three assists. Markus Kruger<\/strong> and Niklas Hjalmarsson<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>scored for the Blackhawks. In goal Pekka Rinne<\/a><\/strong> (22 of 24 saves) outduelled Corey Crawford<\/a><\/strong> (24 of 27 saves).<\/p>\n
